JimBee Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Before I forget, I will coat my scythe in venom.
Rufus Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 My, that wasn't exactly our finest hour As Atramor has been lucky with his mugging, I'll divide the 20 gold equally between the other four - Alexis, Hybros, Eric and Boomingham. The potions should go to those lowest in health - Alexis and Hybros (but I wouldn't use them just yet ). Atramor can have the bone (though I could have sworn he already had one). Shall we have a good look round aisle 2 now? Being very careful for tripwires and traps, of course!
CMP Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Atramor can have the bone (though I could have sworn he already had one). "I do, I just thought the Dog was gonna go down in one hit, so decided not to waste it," Atramor explains. McCafferey gives a slight quiver in his hat as he whips down the Chain Whip again, not to mention adding a coating of Venom to it.
Sandy Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 The party looks through the crates on the second aisle thoroughly, but do not find anything even resembling a crown marked on any of them. Suddenly they hear flapping of wings, and as they look up, they see four bats sitting on top of the crates. At their feet they hear squeaking of another big rat, which Alexis translates. "Squeak squeak!!! [You killed mah woman 'n' mah brats, you bastards, and now you're gonna to pay! I called my leatherwinged homies to help me beat you up real good!]" Then the big rat and his cohorts attack. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! Khorne Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Eric will aid Rufindel and attack Bat C from the front row as well.

Rufus Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Same order as before: Battle order: Eric Alexis Atramor Hybros Boomingham Rufindel Boomingham and I will both attack the Big Rat from the Front Row. I'd suggest Hybros moves to the back row for this round.
CMP Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I'll attack Bat B from the front row. Hybros, could you attack Bat D so it doesn't get a free hit on us?
JimBee Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I think Alexis should attack Bat D since she has a higher chance of dealing damage. In case your attack fails, Atramor, I should attack Bat B since it has the most health. I will attack Bat B from the back row.

Both rogues miss their targets, but Lord Boomingham makes up for this by hitting the Big Rat for 7 damage. Rufindel performs a Miracle that restores up to 17 points of health to all allies. That's why I'm going last Battle Order: (third time lucky) Eric Alexis Atramor Hybros Boomingham Rufindel I'll attack Bat D, front row. Boomingham, join Hybros in attacking Bat B from the front row, please.
CMP Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Atramor jumps over to the Big Rat from the front row, swinging his Chain Whip as he does so. "There's only one rat around here allowed to use venom, cheese-face," he insists.

But seriously, what a lot of cowards this family is. Protect your wares with men, not vermin. It is not honorable to let rats and bats fight your fights. Though they do make easy prey."
