Posted August 22, 200618 yr I have two black seas barricuda's and want a skulls eye schooner. Not sure if they equal out value wise but i might consider trading a BSB for a SES if anyone was interested.
August 22, 200618 yr Governor What more can you tell us about your Black Seas Barracudas lad? Are they identitical? If not, which one do you want to trade? What condition is it in? Is it complete? Does it include the box and/or instructions?
August 22, 200618 yr you are gonna find it hard to trade an SES for a BSB because the SES is superior to the BSB, the SES can unload a ful 4 shot broadsie and while the BSB has 4 cannons she has 2 a side. The SES was more thought out when they designed her and included the mizzen mast which the BSB did not. PLus the way the sails were rigged with the rope minus tying it to a sail was far superior on the SES than the BSB where it tied to a flag that always falls off when you sneeze.
August 22, 200618 yr Author well i can say that i'm not sure it's complete but before a trade i would build it and any missing pieces i would get off bricklink. So it would be in complete condition. The sails are in great condition, it looks like they've never been used. I have a box but it's a little worse for wear. I also have instructions for it to. But before anything i would make sure it was complete.

Also their values are different. SES can go for alot more then BSB (because BSB was rereleased they are much more common, but before the rerelease they were still more expensive) So to entice someone into this trade you may need to add things in.... either money or other lego. Good luck on the trade.

Good luck on the trade. well i have ways to sweetin the deal if anyone is bitin. I have lots of LEGO and lots of pirate LEGO. I realize that it wouldn't be a fair trade, one for one but i have other things, ie. a renegade runner, other small ships, lots of pirates, imperials whatever and of course the language we all understand money, that i might be willing to part with for the SES. If anyone is intersested let me know.
September 2, 200618 yr JackDagger, I am wondering if you already have succeeded, (how do you write it!) in this trade I have two black seas barricuda's and want a skulls eye schooner. Not sure if they equal out value wise but i might consider trading a BSB for a SES if anyone was interested. About the 2 BSBs, are you saying that you want to trade a SES for 2 bsbs?

Not every would agree that a Skulls Eye Schooner is superior to a Black Seas Barracuda, some would even say the Black Seas Barracuda is the superior of two. However, I do like the Skulls Eye Schooner better and I don't think I'd trade one for a Black Seas Barracuda, but since I only have one Skulls Eye Schooner and two Black Seas Barracudas it wouldn't be in my best interest to trade!

If it were 1 SES for 2 BSB then this would be a many more tempting offering but as BSB has been released again some years back that leaves SES more rarer and therefore of more value. So this is why trading a singular BSB for a singular SES is not a good deal to many.

September 13, 200618 yr Governor What he really should of done was taken pictures of what he had for trading so anyone interested could see exactly what they were getting. It appears Jack Dagger is currently lost at sea but hopefully one day he will return and give us an update on the situation.
September 19, 200618 yr Haaa haaa haaa I have 3 skull eye Schooners that I will trade for 2 black sea barracudas, anyone interested?
September 28, 200618 yr Haaa haaa haaa I have 3 skull eye Schooners that I will trade for 2 black sea barracudas, anyone interested? I'll trade you your 3 Skulleye Schooners for my 3 Skulleye Schooners. :-P
October 24, 200618 yr Governor That might or might not be a smart thing to do depending on the condition of the Skulls Eye Schooner. If Captain Ironhook's Skulls Eye Schooners were in better condition then it would be a very smart thing to. For Land Lubber that is...
