miguev Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Wow! ... I couldn't help say it loud upon seeing the first pic. I'm kinda sorry for all other contestants Quote
MacKaiwer Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) And the winner is... Nico71  Nice looks, great design, this is just a proper LMP1 car, I like it very much! You are the man, Nico Edited April 24, 2015 by MacKaiwer Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Wow, beautiful model and a beautiful presentation. It will be very hard to choose a winner in this competition. I saw some amazing entries already and this is definitely one of them. Quote
captainmib Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 That is one sexy ride. Really smooth, good job. If only 42039 looked like this... I like the doors, the curves, suspension setup in the front is clever done. It's a lot of red 5 beams though Nice LMP1! Quote
nico71 Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 Many thank for your comments ! Yes the 5L beam techniques with flex is the reason why I have so many parts (1494 for a 1500 limit), that is why I have not so detailled the interior and motor :) Quote
Meatman Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) Very nice Nico. Looks great. Edited April 25, 2015 by Meatman Quote

Yipeeka Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Waow ! Great model, great attention to details an i realy like the way you've made the curves of the car it look very real. At first glance didn't think the doors could be opened ! Nice job with these. Way better than the official technic set ! Quote

Mickael Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 That's LMP1! Compared to # 42039, is the day and night! A beautiful line no frills, very well thought suspension. very nice Quote
Erik Leppen Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I love the slanted red 5x11 panels. The whole design really "flows" from front to back. Your suspension systems also seem very interesting, but I always fear the force they put on the connectors. Anyhow, great model!. :) Quote
nico71 Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 And here is the english review ! http://www.nico71.fr/lmp1-racecar/ Quote

BusterHaus Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Good looking hot rod! I like the identification of functions by colour - I started using a similar method a while ago, but not as consistently. Quote
