The Penguin Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 (edited) Well, the title explains it all mostly. ) Those who know me better are aware that I'm terribly afraid of clowns and everything that's connected with those freaks. Some time ago I decided to battle my fears and read Stephen King's famous "IT" book and watched the film. And what do you think? IT GOT EVEN WORSE! Any comments, please? ) MORE ON THE NEXT PAGE! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited September 12, 2011 by The Penguin Quote
Sandy Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Clowns freak me out, but I think you've found a good method of therapy by building one of the scariest clowns as a puny little minifig. Now you can just flick your fears away with your fingers. Quote

LandShark Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Now I know how hard it must have been for you to make all of those Joker figures. OMG, MY DWARVES!!!!!! What about your Baby Troll? Quote
The Penguin Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 Oh no! Not Lil' Jimmy! Someone save him! Nah, that's not Jimmy! It's lil' Jeb (Jebediahs). He'll be ok, I'm sure. He'll hack and slash the clown to bits if he comes near him. Orcs don't really appreciate humans! If only It does not turn itself into an orcish clown! Oh, the horror! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Very creepy and 'beautifully-done' at the same time. Great job capturing the overall look of the reference character in this custom fig. Your hand-painting skills are very commendable and the chopped-off clown headpiece is really clever. Quote
WhiteFang Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 This is scary. And, you did well with those creepy and eerie expression. Quote
LandShark Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Well, it seems I got so caught up in 'terror', that I forgot to give my actually opinion of the figure. Firstly, very clever modification of the already existing clown hairpiece. But the thing that really stood out for me was the bloody hands! They look really good. It sounds weird , but they look clean, like they're an official print. Well done, and I hope your Dwarves are okay. Quote
ADHO15 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Ugh! What a creepy clown! It must have been very difficult for you to make it. But you did a great job. The fig might even look scarier than the 'real' one! Quote
Nightshroud99 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) Outstanding job with the figure, but clowns.... I think its safe to say few people like them. Edited August 30, 2011 by Nightshroud99 Quote
Darkdragon Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 We all float down here. Nice custom really. Love the hair. I was afraid to walk too close to a gutter drain for a while after that book and movie. Quote
drevim Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 (edited) Very nice. Guess you could melt down a Chrome 3PO (he's kind of silver, right), and hope someone is a good shot with a slingshot, just in case he gets frisky. Actually just read the book again over the summer, just a great read. Edited September 12, 2011 by drevim Quote
The Penguin Posted September 12, 2011 Author Posted September 12, 2011 For those who have no clue what is going on here..... Do watch the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzoPUHKZTNM Nightmares keep haunting me. Is it? Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote

commdr_neyo Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I always liked IT, atleast the movie, I never read the book. You made a great recreation of Pennywise, and I love the comic! Keep on customizing Quote
Professor Trelawney Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Penguin, You actually scared me when I saw the first picture! That's due to the fact that I hate the film it, and i'm terrified of clowns. Scary mini-fig clown though :) Quote
Jebediahs Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Man, I tried to look at this thread when you first posted but I saw that image in the first frame of your first post then closed my web browser. I, like so many who have posted have a big fear of clowns all thanks to Pennywise. Watching the clip and reading your comic made me laugh out loud so I'm glad I found the strength to view your creation. The knife work on the red 'fro is great. Baby Jeb! Quote
