Hinckley Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 It is late in Moonlight and there is, yet again, a full moon... ...and the citizens of Moonlight are getting high and drunk, and engaging in immoral behavior. "You've been giving me the eye all night," the wrestler says with a heavy drunken slur, "You got a hot can, baby. What else you hiding in your gadget box?" "Beeb bop bope beep beeple." R2-D2 says flirtatiously. "What's say we go somewhere more private," The wrestler suggests, "And I can get me a hot piece of that robot megablocks." R2-D2 and the wrestler check to make sure they have complete privacy. "OK baby," the wrestler says, "show me the goods..." "Beep Beep." R2 whistles. R2-D2 draws his tommy gun. The drunken wrestler doesn't realize what it is that he sees. "Aw yeah baby!" The wrestler says excitedly, "Give me some of that!" "Aw, that's what Daddy wants, yeah." The wrestler says... ( Sorry... ) R2-D2 releases the safety. Click! "Uh-oh," the wrestler says. Ratatatatatatatatatatatat! R2-D2 literally blows the wrestler's megablocks off. The wrestler lies dead in the street as R2-D2 beeps and boops off into the night. "Aw dude, yeah!" Anubis says as he dances on the fire escape down the block from the dead wrestler, "I'm so freakin' high. And high too. I'm high and high. Get it? Waha." And that brilliant statement was the last statement Anubis would ever make. He misses the ladder completely and steps right off the landing (with some impressive special effects! ) and plunges off the third story of the building. As Anubis's body hits the railing below, it startles Leia and Bullseye. Anubis's body falls to the sidewalk with a sickening thud of cracking bones and collapsing organs. "Let's get out of here, horsey!" Leia cries. And as Leia rides Bullseye away from the scene of Anubis's death, the town's full moon hangover begins... In the morning, everyone is horrified to see yet another dead body outside of Ivan's deli. "Is this where the lighting is set up the easiest?" Someone asks. "Shut up," is the answer. The Cross-Dressing Construction Man approaches the wrestler and unmasks him. It is that pudgy bitch Petra (Peanuts). "I wish I could tell you what a perverted freak she was," somebody says, "but I'd totally give myself away." "Who said that?" Agent Veronica asks. "Um...nobody." Just then a crash is heard and a line of construction trucks suddenly comes to a screeching halt right in the middle of the crowd. "Aw shit!" Cries The Criminal Foreman, "I killed a dog or something." "No no!" Ivan shouts, "You are leaving us this minute! No construction. You are hired by the mafia. To casinos we are not losing our town!" "Settle down Yoda." The Criminal Foreman laughs, "I work for a guy named Max. We're a couple days late but we're starting today. We're knocking down this whole block. Making way for strip joints and casinos." "Our town!" Someone cries. "You bastards!" Somebody else shouts. "Won't anyone think of the God damn children???" Yet someone else screams. "Hey, we're union. We don't answer to you clowns." The Hottie Criminal Construction Man says. The men laugh and return to their trucks. Ivan unmasks Anubis. It is Catya (The Crazy One). "Who?" Somebody asks. "No wait!" Agent Veronica cries as the trucks begin moving down the street again, carrying the bodies of Petra and Catya with them. "You awful crooks! You won't get away with this. I'll call the police! I'll call the FBI! Oh!! I am the FBI!! You guys are in so much trouble!! You're about to get an megablocks kicking from Agent Hottie!" Agent Veronica kicks and punches the trucks as they pass but the Criminal Construction Crew is not phased... "Mother megablocker!" Agent Veronica screams. "Sorry." Agent Veronica collects herself, "I've come to care about this town and the people who live here quite a bit. I don't like to see people getting hurt. That being said, without the bodies of the victims, it will take me some extra time to figure out their affiliation..." With that, the remaining citizens of Moonlight began once again discussing who amongst them was likely to be a member of the mafia. Day Six has now begun. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. ____________________ The Rules: Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Town or the Scum. Brickdoctor Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I see the mad scientist is back. And I see we haven't been told of Catya's or Petra's allegiances. And I see Catya wasn't murdered. god's doing?
JimBee Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Noooo! My beloved Catya! What will I do without you, my sweet? I've just about enough of this. Dmitri, what were your results from last night? I really would like to take out some trash today...
Tamamono Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Petra and Catya! Who would want to kill them? (It appears that Catya was murdered by god, but R2-D2 shot Petra) I'm quite curious to see their affiliations, but they'll most likely both be Town. It appears that the Hula Dancer was drinking from the Mad Scientists vial, so I assume he/she will be the next poison victim. Dmitri, who did you investigate last night, and what was the result?
Dragonator Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 FINALLY! I knew I was on to something yesterday, I knew it! Last night I investigated Wilem and found him to be a member of the Baritones Mafia. The game is up you scummy trash, you didn't manage to get rid of me yesterday and now you're going down. I decided not to investigate Samuel as I thought that would be my obvious target and the scum might try to interfere in some way. So I went after the more suspicious of my other two suspects, the rarely seen but extremely vocal Wilem. And I finally got a return on my suspicions. Not only does this confirm the two family theory, but it bags us another mafioso bastard. Woo! In other news, why did we not find out the alignment of the deceased? That is somewhat worrying.
Tamamono Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I knew I was on to something yesterday, I knew it! Last night I investigated Wilem and found him to be a member of the Baritones Mafia. The game is up you scummy trash, you didn't manage to get rid of me yesterday and now you're going down. Great job, Dmitri! It looks like we have a scum conviction all ready to go today! I personally don't think you would bring forward something like this if it weren't true, but there is the possibility that you're scum and you only need one more conviction to finish the town off. However, I think we're better off trusting you than not. If we're lucky, the Hula Girl and Petra will turn out to be scum as well.
JimBee Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Great work, Dmitri. I doubt you make a claim this bold without being sure, so I think we know who to vote for today.
Rick Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I agree, this looks like a mafia kill and some sort of divine intervention, even though Catya did speak yesterday. Not much, but still... and it looks like the poisoner is still alive as well. And unless someone has more information, I fear we might have lost two more townies last night. I knew I was on to something yesterday, I knew it! Last night I investigated Wilem and found him to be a member of the Baritones Mafia. The game is up you scummy trash, you didn't manage to get rid of me yesterday and now you're going down. Whereas that doesn't clear you from being a member of the Russian Mafia of course, this certainly gives us something to act on today. I'm also eager to hear if Samuel's sources have learned anything during the night and whether he is any closer to finding out the trustworthiness of his source(s). In other news, why did we not find out the alignment of the deceased? That is somewhat worrying. [*] The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed two days after their death. That isn't good news at all and is much worse than the threat of death for not voting. It seems God gets progressively more angry when we do not reach a conviction. Let's hope this 'curse' is lifted if we manage to reach a conviction today.
Dragonator Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 That isn't good news at all and is much worse than the threat of death for not voting. It seems God gets progressively more angry when we do not reach a conviction. Let's hope this 'curse' is lifted if we manage to reach a conviction today. Gah, that's ridiculous! How the hell are we meant to know if we are making progress or not!? This better be fixed come tomorrow, or there will be hell to pay! I would assume it is a direct result of the fool moon and will go away much like the previous rule change did.
WhiteFang Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I knew I was on to something yesterday, I knew it! Last night I investigated Wilem and found him to be a member of the Baritones Mafia. The game is up you scummy trash, you didn't manage to get rid of me yesterday and now you're going down. Fine with me. At the end of the day, it's the townies who suffer. Because you did your maths and you need a few more killings and by stepping forward to claim that I am a member of the scum will do you no good when I am a townie and you just claim that your results are insane. Vote for me if you want, because I will be back to vote for you.
Sandy Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 FINALLY! I knew I was on to something yesterday, I knew it! Last night I investigated Wilem and found him to be a member of the Baritones Mafia. The game is up you scummy trash, you didn't manage to get rid of me yesterday and now you're going down. As convenient as that sounds, I can't help but to believe you. It still does not mean you couldn't belong to the Russian Mafia, though. Having two Mafias would actually explain the presence of a scum investigator, too. I for one will vote for Wilem today, if only the poisoner does not prevent me (based on last nights photos, s/he's still around). I pointed out my suspicions towards Wilem yesterday, so I have no problem voting him out. I'm sorry to tell you the Peeping Tom did not learn anything new last night. I worry of his safety, so I cannot give you more details as to why that was.
iamded Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I'm so angry, I could scream. But, I shall remain calm and composed, and use this anger to create a masterpiece of a painting later on. Angst sells for big bucks. I would like to say that I am extremely vexed that we didn't convict ANYONE yesterday. If we'd convicted Dmitri and found his allegiance, we'd gain much more direction in who to go after. Hell, I'd have been happy if we'd convicted Samuel instead. As much as he's my friend, I still don't know for sure if he's town, so convicting him would give solid information once his allegiance was revealed. But no, no one was convicted and we learn absolutely nothing, and what's more it'll take an extra day to learn anything from night killings and what-not. (This is where I'd yell in frustration, but no. Caaalm...) See, if Dmitri showed up scum (which I'm sure he would have) then we'd be able to trust Samuel more, and we'd know Denis is likely scum too (as Stanislav was certain both Dmitri and Denis were scum), and probably Patrick as well, as yesterday he was rallying against Samuel and defending Dmitri. On the contrary if Samuel was convicted and found scum then we'd have reason to believe Dmitri's claims and so on. Instead we learn nothing, and are cursed with this ▓▓▓▓▓▓ delay in gaining information that we need! (See, I painted over the swear. ) <sigh> Okay. Fine. I'll see where this Wilem thing goes, but if he turns out townie then I'm nailing you to the wall, Dmitri.
Fugazi Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 It would seem that we are finally making progress in finding the scum hiding among us. I'm surprised about Willem, but it would explain the energy he spent trying to get Dmitri lynched while being otherwise quite silent. However, we must hope that this curse that prevents us from finding out alignments is lifted by tomorrow, or we won't know if Dmitri is lying or telling the truth. The presence of two mafia groups do raise the possibility of a scum investigator as Samuel mentions, so we should keep this in mind tomorrow as the alignment of Willem is (hopefully) revealed. Moreover, what about the hula girl? Will we know if the victim of the poisoner is scum or townie? This is quite a cruel punishment for not lynching yesterday. Vote for me if you want, because I will be back to vote for you. Do you mean like a resurrection?
Sandy Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 This is quite a cruel punishment for not lynching yesterday. You've only got yourself to blame. Why did you not vote?
WhiteFang Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Let me re-instate my thoughts once more. Just because I am megablocking silent, doesn't mean I don't work on my megablocks in private! Instead of posting some of the vital information to my remaining trusty allies, I better post them out here in PUBLIC, for all to reference and take note. Because at the end of this, once the day start, I am going to nail and vote Dmitri first. First important point Stanislav's departing message to the remaining few, claim that Denis and Dmitri are 100% scums. He had shared this same message to a few of us including Samuel, before he is dead and declared as an innocent townie. Obviously, I can't ask more private information when Stanislav is dead and it's an offense to disturb or probe the dead further. I am acting on his will and Stanislav had warned me, not to believe any of Dmitri's words at all. Second point Apart from Stanislav's inventor's ability which was shared, one of the scum's ability is to be able to pass and hand over disguised item to an innocent townie. I can't remember the official name of this role, but this unfortunate incident happens with one of my dead ally, namely Nika. Let me share with all of you. Nika received a item known as the grenade by a mysterious person at night. It was confirmed again and again, that this item was not handed over by Stanislav and it was concluded that someone among the scum had the ability to pass down items and disguise it. Nika had verified it personally with god on the usage of the grenade, and it was meant to blow the target up and I suspected that the grenade was being tampered in advance. However, despite of the known risks, we decided to go ahead with it and go for the target that we wanted. Unfortunately, Nika was blown up... So, I hope this piece of fact, will not go with me to my coffin. Third point The megablocking poisoner is a bloody serial killer out there, who is out to harm anyone of us, including scums and townies. I also noted that this megablocking poisoner might have already and is working together with the scums. Do note that the poisoner is a bloody day action and this action was submitted at night for the poison to react in mid-day. Fourth point The 2 family scum theory sounds to me like a complete SHAM to confuse all of us. If there is truly a second family out there, shouldn't those scums be working together or at least reveal out the second family existence during those recent convictions or killings. I find it extremely hard to swallow and believe. There are a few more points which have not been discussed and pointed out, but until this stage, I felt I need to share with our worthy townies and not to be deceived by them anymore.
Sandy Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 But Wilem, what would Dmitri gain from saying you're scum if you weren't? It was the same deal with Ruxana. There are still (hopefully) enough of us Townies so that the scum won't win if we just convict the wrong person. Lying about the result of an investigation would work as a "final touch" move for the scum, but I don't think this is possibly our last day yet. There's just too many of us still alive. So, if you turn out to be Town, Dmitri will certainly be voted out tomorrow - and no amount of "he was framed" excuses will save him, I truly hope.
Tamamono Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Second point Apart from Stanislav's inventor's ability which was shared, one of the scum's ability is to be able to pass and hand over disguised item to an innocent townie. However, despite of the known risks, we decided to go ahead with it and go for the target that we wanted. Unfortunately, Nika was blown up... So, I hope this piece of fact, will not go with me to my coffin. Woah, seriously? What night did Nika receive the grenade? Did Nika ever tell you who gave it to her? Who was your target? Third point The megablocking poisoner is a bloody serial killer out there, who is out to harm anyone of us, including scums and townies. I also noted that this megablocking poisoner might have already and is working together with the scums. Do note that the poisoner is a bloody day action and this action was submitted at night for the poison to react in mid-day. I think that's pretty much established already. No vigilante would kill in such a pattern.
WhiteFang Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 But Wilem, what would Dmitri gain from saying you're scum if you weren't? It was the same deal with Ruxana. There are still (hopefully) enough of us Townies so that the scum won't win if we just convict the wrong person. Lying about the result of an investigation would work as a "final touch" move for the scum, but I don't think this is possibly our last day yet. There's just too many of us still alive. You can use your head and do your maths with some logical reasoning... Do we have any town vigilante and protector anymore? Just look around you, we got none as far as I can see. With me convicted, and 1 possible killings in the mid-day later, plus another 1 to 2 more killings at night? It's only a matter of time, before you guys have the strength to overrun them. Plus the fact, that they are hidden strong in numbers. Right now, there are 14 of us being alive. 2 scums confirming dead. We got a crazy serial killer, poisoner out there that is likely to ally with the scums and that adds one pax into their strength. Minus here and there, it is going to take the scums one more day tomorrow, to secure the victory. Just watch and see. Woah, seriously? What night did Nika receive the grenade? Did Nika ever tell you who gave it to her? Who was your target? I will not reveal the target. Nika didn't tell me when she received it and that person who gave it to her is a mysterious person.
CMP Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Damn, my best blonde buddy. As for Dmitri and Wilem, this is an interesting claim, but as pointed out, it could be the scum's last step to winning. Yes, we've discussed this yesterday. Dmitri seems to be 100% sure you're scum too. And no offense, but an Investigator kinda has more credibility when it comes to alignments than an Inventor. However, despite of the known risks, we decided to go ahead with it and go for the target that we wanted. Unfortunately, Nika was blown up... So, I hope this piece of fact, will not go with me to my coffin. Um, it's pretty unlikely there's 2 Inventors. It would be a lot more likely Stanislav thought Nika was scum and gave it to her. And point out where it's been confirmed again and again, please. I may have missed it yesterday. And the fact that you suspected the grenade was tampered with but let her use it anyway is just plain stupid. Or scummy. I feel bittersweet about not voting yesterday (would've gotten a conviction, but judging by today, we wouldn't know Dmitri's alignment and would've gotten a lot more confusing) and am still relatively unsure today. We took a chance with Ruxana, and we did catch a scum. Might have to take a chance with Dmitri today, but if Wilem can come up with anything postively solid I'll reconsider..
WhiteFang Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Yes, we've discussed this yesterday. Dmitri seems to be 100% sure you're scum too. And no offense, but an Investigator kinda has more credibility when it comes to alignments than an Inventor. My foot. Since when you can safely regards Dmitri as a full pledged sane townie investigator. I don't buy any of his words at all. I will rather take a dead man's townie words for true. Or scummy. As I mentioned earlier, it was checked by Nika with GOD himself, that the megablocking grenade is safe to use, which is why we go ahead with it.. Until someone just now had told me very interesting in private, as in why the grenade might possibly fails... I need time to check that new piece of evidence...
Rick Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I feel bittersweet about not voting yesterday (would've gotten a conviction, but judging by today, we wouldn't know Dmitri's alignment and would've gotten a lot more confusing) and am still relatively unsure today. We would have known the alignment of the convicted player if we would have been able to reach a conviction... I'm quite sure not knowing the alignment of those who died last night was due to there being a Full Moon Festival (i.e., the result of not reaching a conviction).
CMP Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 My foot. Since when you can safely regards Dmitri as a full pledged sane townie investigator. I don't buy any of his words at all. I can't regard Dmitri as a full pledged sane townie investigator. But I didn't regard Ruxana as such either, and she got a conviction, so I'm gonna have to have to go off that. I don't think any of us are a hundred percent sure on it, but we have to try. No, if I read right, you said Nika was told 'The grenade was MEANT to blow the target up.' But I can see where you'd be confused. But in all seriousness, was it REALLY likely God was going to tell you whether it was rigged/faulty or not? We would have known the alignment of the convicted player if we would have been able to reach a conviction... I'm quite sure not knowing the alignment of those who died last night was due to there being a Full Moon Festival (i.e., the result of not reaching a conviction). Oh, right. Okay, then yeah, maybe I should've voted Dmitri. I just didn't believe God was uncreative cruel enough to have a Full Moon Festival 3 days after the last one. Looking back at who our God is, I should've known better.
WhiteFang Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 No, if I read right, you said Nika was told 'The grenade was MEANT to blow the target up.' But I can see where you'd be confused. But in all seriousness, was it REALLY likely God was going to tell you whether it was rigged/faulty or not? Which is why, when you get unknown stuff, you asked for the possible source or things which you can clarified at first hand. Ultimately, for everything it happens, there is bound to be a logical reason. Oh, right. Okay, then yeah, maybe I should've voted Dmitri. I just didn't believe God was uncreative cruel enough to have a Full Moon Festival 3 days after the last one. Looking back at who our God is, I should've known better. You are not being helpful either, since you stood behind yesterday idly.
CMP Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Which is why, when you get unknown stuff, you asked for the possible source or things which you can clarified at first hand. Ultimately, for everything it happens, there is bound to be a logical reason. You are not being helpful either, since you stood behind yesterday idly. I can understand you'd ask, but wouldn't it be pretty unlikely God would say 'Oh, hey, don't use that grenade, it'll blow you up when you try to use it."? I really don't have a ton to add other than what I can make out of other's and God's information using common sense and knowledge. Hey, I could just re-iterate over and over how my friend who possibly killed a Townie was 100% sure so-and-so are scum. That'd help a ton. And before anyone jumps on it, I mean God's information as in pictures during the Full Moon Festivals.
WhiteFang Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I can understand you'd ask, but wouldn't it be pretty unlikely God would say 'Oh, hey, don't use that grenade, it'll blow you up when you try to use it."? That is entirely up to one's person brilliant deduction. Till this moment, I only heard one logical explanation for the grenade failure which was given in private and I am very much inclined to believe in it. It will not be shared until a little more verification.
