Posted August 30, 201113 yr Hay guys, I was wondering if there was anyone out there in the SW Lego universe that has a up to date price guide? I can go to bricklink and look at the average price sets and figs sell for and write them down but dont have the time. It would be nice to be able to refrence a guide so see what your collection is worth (brickset only dose RRP and not current price), both sets and figures. I would love this to see if purchases are worth it compired to their current value when buying second hand sets. Its also nice to put a real figure on your collection for insurance purposes. I know that Could City Boba Fett is the most expensive fig on the merket fetching up to $200 for 1 minifig alone. I would love to have a list of minifigs from most expensive to least to know which one to hang onto. If anyone has any guides, knows wehre to find them or would like to start one keep this thred going. Surly someone has done the hard work and put somthing like this together.
August 30, 201113 yr I think you can do that with BrickStore. Brickstore download a price guid from Bricklink, and for each part, minifig, or set you add in your list you will have infos about All time sales, Last 6 months sales and Current inventories in Bricklink stores. So it's not a ready to use SW Lego set and minifig price guide since you will have to add items to your list but it could help.

It sounds like a neat little program for keeping track of your lego collection. Ill let you know it it dose the job. Yeah this is awsome, just playing with it and learning how it works but it has nice features. Ive seen my moset expensive set 7662 Trade Federation MMT. This was supprising that this set is currently the most expensive set I own. I thought surly the 10212 Shuttle would be worth the most but and 10195 Dropship with AT-OT, 6210 Sail Barge are worh more as well. We will see how much the Shuttle goses for when its not avaliable any more. I have also notice that the 2nd edition Slave 1 has droped about half in price since the 2010 release of the 3rd edition. Re-release or remake sets de-value the other similar sets. This is why I dont really want them to make anoither Cloud City set. If they did it would need to be much diffrent to not away from the originally of the first release. Edited August 31, 201113 yr by wokajablocka

December 21, 201410 yr Hi, I updated this site to have a top 100+ on it. Let me know what you think. http://www.minifigpriceguide.com/Top100LegoMinifigures.html
December 21, 201410 yr I'm not an expert at the "investment" part of our hobby (well a part the cost per bricks thing ) since every time I acquire a Lego set I can't help but building it. However I know many fans/collectors who use brickpicker.com (I think I spelled correctly) to check the "market quotations" of Lego sets. Like I said I'm not very expert about the investment part of Lego hobby

However I know many fans/collectors who use brickpicker.com (I think I spelled correctly) to check the "market quotations" of Lego sets. Like I said I'm not very expert about the investment part of Lego hobby I do not consider these minifigures investments. Rather, I price them based on what collectors are willing and currently paying for them. Myself included. If you hord 50 alfreds and then try to dump them, the price will fall considerable until they are all snatched up. You can see this with the Ban figure from the original batman series. It used to sell for 75-100, but now is going for about 30. It is also possible that this was due to extra demand from the movie and the people that just want a ban figure do not care if it is the original, or a new variety? I am not sure. http://www.minifigpriceguide.com/detailPages/BATMAN_bat021.html

I agree with you about the fact what collectors are willing to pay do determine the price of a collectible. That's why the vary from period to period, according to demand. We are all collectors but there are persons who really make a job out of it. As for me... well I think I could never renounce to any part of my Lego collection EDIT: Typo corrected Edited December 24, 201410 yr by BrickSev
December 31, 201410 yr I just added a link to the minifigs.nl to all of the detail pages on the price guide. This is just for the star wars figures since minifigs.nl just focuses on star wars only. See http://www.minifigpriceguide.com/STARWARS.0.html
