zewy623 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) The models look great. The flagship isnt that appealing to me, but i need to see better pics of it first, but the helicopter looks absolutely amazing. Excuse me for double posting. But are the wheels and tires on the rock crawler (flagship, I'm not sure what its called) the power puller tires without the letters? Original pp wheel/tire: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?P=22969c02 pp wheel/tire w/out words: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?P=22969c01 Edit: the tires without words are on 8466, 4 x 4 Off Roader. Matt The Tuba Guy Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) Wow, they are both quite nice, I especially like the helicopter! only two though? There have been 10 sets each year for the last few, so I thought 2012 might have been the same. Are the helicopter blades special parts? Also, I kind of hope they haven't finished the final products and the truck gets new even bigger wheels. @Matt The Tuba Guy All of the pictures aren't uploaded apparently, but in the next day all of them are supposed to be up. That sounds good. I wonder what else there will be. That helicopter is HUGE! At least 50 studs (40cm) long I think! Can't wait! Sucks I live in NZ, so I will probably have to wait till February just to get the 1st half sets. Edited December 20, 2011 by Matt The Tuba Guy Quote

captainmib Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 People, shall we merge the 1h and 2h 2012 topics into one sticky topic called '2012 technic models'? This is getting a bit confusing. Also, one nice Topic Start with pictures, links and stuff like that will be highly appreciated! Please let me know Quote
Jim Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) People, shall we merge the 1h and 2h 2012 topics into one sticky topic called '2012 technic models'? This is getting a bit confusing. Also, one nice Topic Start with pictures, links and stuff like that will be highly appreciated! Please let me know Indeed! Next time, I will create a topic named "Speculations about 2013 models" without H1 or H2 Nice models for 2H 2012. The Helicopter is awesome. I was hoping the Rock Crawler would actually be more of a Rock Crawler, than an Offroader, but I am still very happy with the set. It's fully remote controlled, so there might some interesting techniques under the hood. Return to center steering, Unimog like suspension? And of course the Unimog tires will look even better on the model. Excited! (Edit: actually it probably is a pretty decent Rock Crawler) Next week I'll be getting the H1 2012 models.....and then we wait.... Edited December 20, 2011 by Gekke Ted Quote
Jim Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) I really like the fact that Lego is using orange more often in their models. Orange and black make a nice color scheme for the Rock Crawler. Edited December 20, 2011 by Gekke Ted Quote
davidmull Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I'm only after seeing this now,can we not start a proper 2h tread. Also has anyone a link to the pictures? Quote
sama Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I'll try to upload the same pictures seen in the slide show on the 2h 2012 Technic tread. Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 Don't think it would be wise to place any pictures of preliminary models on this site! Even when they are available on other sites. Please use with caution! Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Instructions for the 1H sets (not including log truck) are now up on the LEGO website. Quote
DLuders Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Yes, and Conchas has made it really easy to access those 1H2012 Technic Building Instructions on this TechnicBRICKS post. He has all of the hyperlinks all set up. Quote
grohl Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Finally they made its way to Czech Republic and thanks to my friends the Jet Plane and Minimog are going to celebrate Christmas with me. Quote
Wiseman_2 Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 They finally showed up in the UK. 9395 is actually very well priced, £49.99 for 950-ish pieces is much better than I expected. Quote
jadedomg Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 9395 is $89 in canada and compared to last years prices is much more resonable. 8041 8069 and 8081 are all $79 and have 300-400 less parts. Quote
Traktor Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) The price in Norway is not too bad either. 9395 costs 650 kr, which equals to about 110 dollars. But I still do not like how they calculate the prices in different currencies. Edited December 24, 2011 by Traktor Quote
DLuders Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) A week day ago, Conchas/ Conchinhas posted this of the 9395 Lego Technic 9395 Pickup Tow Truck (which costs US $69.99 at Shop.Lego.com): Edited December 24, 2011 by DLuders Quote
jadedomg Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Was there not a better way to mount the M motor? it really sticks out and doesn't look good at all where it is. Quote
zewy623 Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 @jadedomg Actually no, if you look at the instructions, there is no other area to put the motor because its so compact. Quote
efferman Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 It seems that TLG has changed their molds for the Fake engine parts have you found more renewed parts? Quote
olaf9198 Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) It seems that TLG has changed their molds for the Fake engine parts have you found more renewed parts? yes the 87082 in the 9391 in black link PS: is that the 9395 Edited December 25, 2011 by olaf9198 Quote
DLuders Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 @ efferman: I see a mixture of the new and old 2850 Technic Engine Cylinder parts in your picture above. Could you add a picture of the new part to the Bricklink parts datab? The new variant is (seemingly) not listed there yet. OLD PART (with side slot): Quote
efferman Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) Olaf9198 iam working on a Fully RC version of the 9395. with some modifications in the functions and the design.
