Posted September 5, 201113 yr Alasdair Ryan recently found this interesting Lego Technic website made by Italian AFOL "LegoTechnicModel05": "Welcome to the first website where you can find building guide to alternative models [of] Lego Technic using the kit you already [have].... If you subscribe to my YouTube channel you will always be updated on the releases of new models with its accompanying instructions....But in this website you will find not only the instructions to alternative models but much more." LegoTechnicModel05 maintains his Facebook page that outlines the addition of various Lego Technic alternates. He also has a nice collection of his own model designs. Nice find, Alasdair! So far on his "Building Guide" webpage, LegoTechnicModel05 has these alternate Building Instructions for: 8043C "Snowmobile": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpTKETi-xq4 8258 Tow Truck "RC": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzPLHGJ4pd8 8053C "Terex": YouTube video link 8070C Supercar "RC" based on the Pagani Zonda: YouTube video link Edited November 11, 201113 yr by DLuders

September 6, 201113 yr Very nice! I love the idea of the "C model", since you know for sure that you have the parts needed for the model. And the building instructions look very nice too. Thanks for the tip!!

November 19, 201113 yr It is interesting to see competitor to my website. I have to say this man has very good building skills and imagination. Especially I like his Pagani Zonda and I was really surprised how fast it is with only one XL motor. Just his website is not very nice. It doesn't look very professional and its background made of big pictures is awful (less does more sometimes). You can easily loose content of page thanks to this background...
November 19, 201113 yr Author @ Alasdair Ryan: You can see Tomik's alternate building instructions on his website here.
November 19, 201113 yr Does anyone know if there is made any good alternate models for the 8285 tow truck, with instructions?

February 4, 201213 yr Author LegoTechnicModel05 has created a "C-Model" alternate for the Lego 8110 Unimog U400 set -- this Lego Technic 8110 Iveco 190EH30. On his website, he wrote "This model will be the perfect scale reply of an Italian vehicle, and not simply a model inspired, but real. The instructions above will be available soon." YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abar-SEVjFY Edited February 5, 201213 yr by DLuders
February 5, 201213 yr Wow, i'm impressed. That C-model is looking really good! Keep up the good work!
February 12, 201213 yr Author On his website, LegoTechnicModel05 has posted his PDF Building Instructions for the "8110C" alternate model (Iveco 190EH30 4x4). To be able to access it (and his other Lego Technic alternate Building Instructions), one must agree to the "Conditions for the free use of instructions." It's simple -- just e-mail him at the address shown there, and he'll soon activate your access rights. I downloaded his 8110C Alternate PDF .rar 17.3-MB Zip file, unpacked it using WinZip, and saw that the four PDF Building Instruction files were well-made. They are Lego-style instructions with Parts List. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abar-SEVjFY
June 13, 201311 yr I have it in my dropbox. I'll prepare a link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3goelmh9y5fbr75/Iveco.zip Edited June 13, 201311 yr by Balrog
