It was painfully obvious Roncanator was town to me, but WBD had a number of people giving him their trust.

I also knew he probably wasn't lying about the strong arm option on his night action (because I had a two shot strong arm option as well, which I only used the final night). But hey, I could do without a town tracker.

I don't understand why you'd give away you have a strong arm option, because it makes your role sound scummy. And you need it when you would have claimed your role to the wrong person (because you could break through their protection or block).

I shouldve unloaded all my crap on the table but all I had was suspicions and mine are as good as the next guys. I had no idea that the people who were scum were actually scum. They all threw me.

I don't mean suspicions. I mean the info about your role. You should've told them you had the ability to kill and who you followed and what you found. When you showed up as Town, they would've had solid information to go on: your findings and the fact that they lost a night killer.

Badboy revealed that he wasn't able to block Roncanator, so he had to give some sort of explanation.

I'm not sure if you may be confusing Cornelius's proxy with someone else, but he did vote Ruxana instead of me on Day 3.

I got you mixed up with the other scum blocker. It was KartoffelViking who proxied CorneliusMurdock on Day One. You still played a great game!

The proxy did kinda confuse me. I can't say it made me trust him though. It's not a bad tactic but if he'd followed it up with some PMs or something it might have accomplished more on that count. Otherwise, I was more afraid that in the early phases it would make me look scummy with someone appearing to blindly trust me.

I have been following this game since it was first announced, and even on holiday I was able to check in and see how it was progressing. It's very interesting as a Mafia School newbie to watch a game with 2 scum factions plus all these exotic roles.

I agree that the Town probably felt a little hard done by but they did not unify until later on when it was too late. I shared iamded's frustration at Dragonator continually slipping through the net even after hanging WhiteFang out to dry.

Great job with the sets and characters and the inventiveness of the Fool Moon Festivals, Hinckley! Overall this was an entertaining game to watch and I can't wait to have the chance to play in another.

I knew you were scum, so it's easy to say, but I would have spotted your stupid megablocks.

Mmmm, yes you've had an exceptional record of managing that in the past, Hinck.

So, looking forward to that Bloodbrick 2 game? I hear Jesus is making a cameo reappearance.

Good point! I didn't really think of that. Follow-up would've been key there. It's a good thing to keep in mind for the future. The proxy is a tool that hasn't been fully explored by EB Mafia crowd...

By the way, thanks to everyone who is leaving such positive feedback about the time and effort I put in. I love doing it but it does take a lot of time, so it's really great to feel appreciated for it. I love entertaining!

Yes, I've learned a lot since then. Like when you blindly exonerate someone from further prying. The two points I brought up about your "Aw shucks" act were actually really amateur. I'm the first to admit you played me like a violin in Bloodbrick. And it's a good thing for you all the other people you've done that to in the past either ended up dead or on your side halfway through this one. And before Sandy comes in and shouts it, yes, it really is true that it's easier for me to see from the outside...and as the host. I hope my advice improves your scum game. But, Jesus will never trust Dmitri. I just had an idea for a new comic. The buddy comedy of Jesus and Dmitri. :wub_drool: I wonder if def will give me the rights to use Jesus. :look:

Well, you may not have noticed, but I wasn't exactly trying to be all that serious during the last day. I knew we'd either won it or I was dead, so there wasn't much point in trying to convince people otherwise. Particularly when most of the people I would generally be cautious of were already taken care of. :sweet:

I noticed wreckless stupidity and abandonment of any disguise, yes. And somehow it still worked.

Meet me in the Dragon's den, let's talk about this: jesus.png

Well, I don't think the Town really was that ignorant and they definitely knew you were scum by then. They just didn't know that they were only facing one mafia still. On the final day we were able to easily take advantage of them wanting to vote off a 'Russian'. Not being aware of the merger, made analysing voting patterns so much harder. You may well be underestimating how confusing this was. I don't think the scum would have won so easily had the town known there was only one mafia left. Not that the town, me included, isn't to blame for not coming up with this possibility. With hindsight it is kind of obvious. But at the time, the Russians had only killed once, so it wasn't sure this was the second mafia kill that certainly stopped after the godfather was killed. This failure to see the setup of the game, combined with two failed convictions, really cost the town the game.

I needed to proxy someone, and didn't want to just proxy some random person, as I thought that could look somewhat scummy on my part. That was my only tactic  Considering the circumstances you found yourself in that day and your behaviour, I thought you'd make a good proxy, which is what I tried to explain when proxying you. I don't know how my proxy was percieved by others, though, but at least it was never questioned in public.

Proxy proxy proxy proxy; try saying that a few times in a row
