Artifex Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 I just went through the whole thread... And it's amazing! Your city and each and every building in it are so lovely! I really like the classic feel about your MOCs and how you mix it with modern furniture and other techniques. Quote
slovakiasteph Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 My last post here! I decided I'd better post the last little bits here because I've already dismantled half the town for my next project. Let me just say: modulars use a lot of bricks! So, I have some random odds-and-ends to share... First, I added another floor to my panelak (and ran out of white bricks on the last balcony)... four floors just looked much more realistic than only three. Brown tiled floors. I decided at this point that the apartments go across horizontally. A rather simple, modern look... I won't show you the other pic of the living room/kitchen area because it turned out too blurry. Moving on to other parts of the town, we have the bus stop and ice cream shop next to it, samosrejme. The sign by the bus stop would normally be on the outskirts of town, but it just fit here. It has the town's coat of arms, and on the white tile above that would be the name of the town (I just didn't sticker/label it). The bus arrives... used the bus from City Corner. And finally, heading out of town, we have a sunflower field and wayside shrine (not sure what they're called, but they can be seen across the country). It's fairly common to see people biking to and fro on country roads as well. Thanks for following my thread, and I'll see you around with my next project! Quote
