8807 CMF Series 7 Doctor Who

Not only have I been practicing my Purist Minifigure making, but also my editing/graphic design

And I decided to this with a typically British theme; Doctor Who!

(Sorry if you clicked onto the page thinking that it was a real Lego product  )

Product Details:

Item: 8807

Price: UK 2.49 US 2.99 EU 2.99

Pieces: TBC

Figures: 16

Here is the packaging:

Believe it or not, that was created ENTIRELY with Microsoft Office. Not some fancy Photoshop Product!

Set List (from left to right, top row first):

- Vashta Nerada

- Judoon

- The Master

- Cyberman

- Dalek

- 10th Doctor

- Jack Harkness

- Davros

Pictures of the first 8 figures will hopefully be posted tomorrow...

Constructive Criticism welcome!

Very clever art work 'George G.', you also could have posted this in the sci-fi area too !

I wait till later for collection to appear.....but no K-9 ?

Keep on time travelling !

I will also post it in the Sci-fi forum for all to see :sweet:

And expect K9 in the second lot of 8....

I like the digital graphics work that you did there - very clean and looks professionally-made even if you did not use Photoshop, really well done! This idea of a Licensed Collectible Minifigure Series is probably something TLG can explore in the future? I'm looking forward then seeing your DW custom figs. :sweet:

Impressive! Although arguably Sci-Fi, the TV and CMF links mean it fits here too. I'm looking forward to seeing the figs!

Which MS Office program(s) did you use? That's quite a feat in itself :sweet:

I use Microsoft PowerPoint (that's right, I said Powerpoint ).

I use it because:

- The working panel is the same size as a regular photo.

- The multiple slides act as different working spaces.

- It includes a 'remove background' function.

- It includes many effects including 'glowing edges', 'soft edges' and 3D effects.

- And some more things that I cant quite remember.

Here's a screen shot:

Well done, it looks very clean and official.

As a purist myself, I really like the way that you've made them.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the individual figures. :classic:
