xwingyoda Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Thanks for the great pic Lord Vader ;) G, i'm shocked :-D I thought Anakin's face would be more burnt ;) Quote
snefroe Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 isn't it weird, from a storytelling point of view, that nothing of the robot concept (Gen. grievous, battle droids,...) lives to see the 4th film of the saga? I mean, if you watch number 4,5,6 there's nothing that reminds you of this age of robots... except c3po and r2, that is... Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Maybe those humanoids, bring bad memories, hence their lack of in the OT (apart Darth Vader) ;) Quote
Vader Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 Well you could also link the part in ep4 where the bar tender says "we dont serve there kind in here" to c3po and r2d2, that could indicate that robots are disliked because of the war. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 26, 2005 Governor Posted April 26, 2005 isn't it weird, from a storytelling point of view, that nothing of the robot concept (Gen. grievous, battle droids,...) lives to see the 4th film of the saga? I mean, if you watch number 4,5,6 there's nothing that reminds you of this age of robots... except c3po and r2, that is... SPOILER ALEEEEEEEEEEEERT!!! After Darth Vader kills all the Seperatist Leaders, and General Grievous and Count Dooku are pronouced dead its decided the droids are no longer needed so they're ALL deactivated... Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Interesting!!! What about protocol droids, servant droids on Tatoin, and astromech droids (the V-wing has an astromech)??? Is it like in ep1, where all "separatist" droids are deactivated??? That would make sense ;) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 26, 2005 Governor Posted April 26, 2005 Its only the droid armies that are fighting in the Clone Wars that are controlled by the Separatists. I.e. the Battle Droids and Super Battle Droids. All other droids remain unaffected. Obi Wan puts any untimely demise to Grevious... Quote
The Middleman Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 That shot of the Magnaguards is great. THANKS! Quote
Vader Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 I guess that the galaxy just couldnt do without protocol droids and astromech droids and after all there not war machines. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Wow those pics of GG are ace. thanks for posting Quote
