Blakbird Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 How did you get the parts, and how much did it cost? I would really like to get this "set" and many other of Han's creation, but it just seams imposible or at least very expensive to acquire all the parts needed. And by the way, it is a very impressive collection you have there Blakbird. I hope mine will become that big one day. I took some parts from my spares and ordered the rest from Bricklink. According to the parts list I made in Brickstore, at average prices this model's parts would cost about $400. The "truck wall" you saw in that picture is only the small back wall of my LEGO room. It represents somewhat less than 10% of my Technic collection. Quote
Traktor Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 But did you order all the parts from on seller or did buy from many different sellers? If the last is the case, would not a lot of money just go to shipping? Too bad no one sells all the parts needed as a kit. And could you take more pictures of your "Lego room", I would very much like to see more of it. Quote
allanp Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Both model and instructions are brilliant! Quote

Yes, I said $400 would be the "average" price of parts if you didn't have to pay shipping. The sellers with the most parts tend to charge more, so with shipping I would bet you could spend twice this much. Luckily, I had most of the parts already. We would love to see all ur sets, have u anymore pictures please ;)? OK, OK, you talked me into it. Doesn't really belong in this thread, but I can't deny the requests. One picture is below. High res versions of many others at Brickshelf once moderated. See how many MOCs you can identify! Quote
Ape Fight Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Awesome creation, it seems to work beautifully (I'm suprised 1 XL motor is enough, it looks massive!) It's been featured on The Lego Car Blog too: http://thelegocarblog.wordpress.com/ Quote

GuiliuG Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Han's model looks more beautiful with big tires :) The only thing which is "bad" with this model ( for me, naturally...) is the steering which is too slow compared to the propulsion ( you're obliged to stop the model to turn in a small place). timslegos Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 You beat me to it Luders! I love Hans model a lot. i wish i had the parts to build it. tim Quote

What is the problem?, an awesome model with something to repair, the perfect challenge, and GuiliuG for your amazing tractors I think you can easy do it . Quote
GuiliuG Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Maybe, but I haven't all the parts to build it and prefer build parts for my own mocs :) I have only look the building instructions to see how everything fits into this brillant articulated hauler :p Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 We do the same but I will try to do it, the technic part of course... Quote
Mas Bambang Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Just visit Han's website. Only one thing I can say, awesome.....!!!! Quote
