CorneliusMurdock Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Though, the only contingency I see with this plan is that once Tattoo Face is gone, maybe there will still be still 24 pills to be chosen from, and so the watcher pill could be avoided. It all depends on what happens to the list of pills that may cause ourselves an extra worry or not. It was already mentioned that any meds being used by anyone lynched or killed wouldn't be available the next day. The beast will take his testicles with him. So.... Candyland, anyone? Or can someone else think of something more worthwhile to discuss?
Zepher Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 But don't you see! We lose the meds when we die. I'm not talking about the watcher pill, I'm asking for all the town members to be watchful. And I'm certainly not saying anyone should reveal anything. I was just saying, it may be interesting to who chooses which meds. If you get a powerful med, maybe keep an eye on who gets it the night afterward, and see if they do anything with it that could give away their alignment.

If you get a powerful med, maybe keep an eye on who gets it the night afterward, and see if they do anything with it that could give away their alignment. I have the perfect name for your well-thought out plan: "Common Sense". Anyone know if Thomas Paine patented that name? I'd hate to get sued.
Zepher Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Hey punk spaceman. Some of the people here could use common sense. I ain't saying I'm Jesus (though I've heard some thing about him...) or Einstein, but about half of these losers seem to not understand that the pill is removed, so pointing out logical things doesn't seem too bad to me. Or do you have something more important to do. Humph. You ain't never biking with me.
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Sorry Lumpy. The sarcasm button on my space suit must be stuck or something. Tell you what, if you play Candyland with me I'll let you be the little red guy.
Scouty Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 It was already mentioned that any meds being used by anyone lynched or killed wouldn't be available the next day. The beast will take his testicles with him. Oh. Ok. That wasn't clear to me, for some reason. Sorry, I feel stupid . Well, despite that mishap on my part, let's just take extra care so that these meds don't end up hurting the sane patient's chances of surviving. Oh, how things get confusing so easily . I'll try to keep up, next time, I promise .
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Don't forget I might be the Godfather. Aren't you dead, yet? Can't a man enjoy a children's board game in peace? And no, Beast, you can't play.
CMP Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Aren't you dead, yet? Can't a man enjoy a children's board game in peace? And no, Beast, you can't play. I'm playing with K-Girl right now, I don't need you.

Hinckley Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 He's doing megablocking plays? Jesus, not this again... Jesus didn't write plays, idiot. It was Harriet the Slut. Don't you know anything about history? I had an interesting idea. Maybe someone can develop it further. I'm just thinking, supposing the pills really do give you actions as The Beast says, we could use them to track scum. If a certain cycle of people keep taking the same pill over and over again, we may then be able to tell who is scum because they will be picking the same action to keep it within their ranks. I don't know, might work, pill selection should be watched. Also, just to reiterate because I think it will help with pill tracking and I'm afraid it's been over-looked, there are five scum. Ms. Bloodbrick said so in the introduction. Hmm, now that you mention it, that could be a good plan to spot out some scum. Oh, wait, no it wont, because it's so daftly obvious! What I see coming out of this is that the scum avoid the "watcher" pill (if it is even that, it could be a lie, perhaps ) and whoever picks up that pill is the target for the night, either to be blocked or killed. It's perfect because even if people try to avoid it, somebody must have to choose it eventually, like what happened to several late comers today, getting assigned random drugs. Though, the only contingency I see with this plan is that once Tattoo Face is gone, maybe there will still be still 24 pills to be chosen from, and so the watcher pill could be avoided. It all depends on what happens to the list of pills that may cause ourselves an extra worry or not. If there are meds out there that give the taker as powerful an action as watcher then yes, we need to be incredibly careful of who we tell what our meds do. However, if one of us finds an important one, it's a good idea to talk to someone you trust about it. That way it can hopefully be shared amongst trusted Townies. Also, if we know what a medication does, we know who gets it the next day. So that will be helpful. Say one of the "inventions" the meds make is a gun or a knife. If someone gets the gun tonight they can take note of who gets the same med tomorrow and then perhaps learn their affiliation by watching who they kill. Get it? All of these "meds" will be followed and exposed to others in one way or another. That is a total double edged sword. Lumpy Zed Furby was onto something, but the danger is the scum finding five important actions that they keep switching between each other and we don't know what we're missing because they keep them from us. I'm not sure we'd be able to tell which five were cycling the same meds for quite some time, but it's a good thing to start keeping a record of who takes what. I'll start a spreadsheet and share the results here every day. The rules say the Town have to "take their medicine" but the Scum don't have to. So if we get an action that has an obvious result and we see it not used the next day, we will know that it was either blocked or taken by a scum. So, Sassy is onto something too. Once Townies start finding others they can trust, we can watch who is choosing what and using it for what. Is anyone following this? I hardly am and I'm saying it. I'm so confused. I know Fraulein Bloodbrick said there are 5 people working for her, but was she referring to the Space Police? Honestly, it could be some trick. What if we are all Insane (Town) and the meds make us hurt each other but we have to just decide to stop and turn on her... Enough thinking out loud. I don't want to confuse anybody. I just want to try and think about all the implications of what we've discovered/theorized today... It's been a crazy first day. I hope we can all tuck in soon.
Hinckley Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Make hot sticky love to me all night? Please? Duh, what else would we do?
Rick Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Lumpy Zed Furby was onto something, but the danger is the scum finding five important actions that they keep switching between each other and we don't know what we're missing because they keep them from us. Good thinking and good you're going to keep track. We don't know what the pills do when they get into the scum's hands... do they get to use the action or is it just blocked from being used? And if it's the latter, do they even know what night action they are effectively blocking?

Oversight is smart and if I should die, someone will have to take it over anyway... Actually, everyone with Excel should keep track of this...
badboytje88 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 I'll write you a little play. The Contradictory Claim by Heng Lewley The Beast: I'm Neutral! The Beast: I'm a Vanilla Townie! The End *applause* I am incredibly, aren't I? Oh yes, thank you. Thank you so much for that warm round of applause. I love you too. You are all too kind. Plays plays plays I love your plays. Reminds me of Harriet the Slut. I feel kinda bad for going to sleep, being the instigator of this all. I'm glad I voted you beast. I don't know how I could ever trust you after all the lies you've been telling. Claiming to tell the truth cause it's all you got... Looking back on this day might come in handy for day 2.
WhiteFang Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 I am late for voting as I just woke up! I must not overslept again. I, too will also vote for Carl. Vote: Vote: Carl "Black Beast" Pie (CallMePie)
Hinckley Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Here's the results of the first day. Once Day Three hits, we can take a look at people who will go back for the same meds... Um, will this posting stop people from going back for seconds? The nature of the meds "game mechanic" will naturally stop people from doing this if they're up to something. If I post it or not, people will know it's being watched. This way, it's all out in the open. Someone tell me if there's an angle I'm not considering.

This way, it's all out in the open. Someone tell me if there's an angle I'm not considering. Remember that the scum are most likely working together. So if they happened to choose medicine that gave extra night actions (since I'm positive not all medicines do that), they can just rotate the person who goes for it. Also remember that it's first come first served. Even if somebody knows the effect of a medicine, it is not guaranteed he or she will be the first to take it each day. I personally will experiment as many medicines as I can during this ordeal, and when I find someone to trust, I will share their effects with them. AAAAHHH!! I almost forgot to scream in terror!!
Professor Flitwick Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 *Yawn* sorry everybody, I was sleeping with the fishes *Holds dead fish up to ear* Koilette finds this phrase inappropriate; she has never been unfaithful to me. Koilette goes on to say that she finds this theory unlikely. She says that the scum are more likely to keep swapping any decent pills they find between eachother. She's drawn a brief example. See? It would be quite impossible to track them, even in the unlikely scenario they all take pills worth taking again. Koilette now wishes she's put a line of hyphens to separate each picture.
Rufus Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Here's the results of the first day. That's a good idea. The cleverer half of my brain (not the one speaking ) has already made such a list. Since the information is public anyway, I see no harm in showing the list; though I suspect the scum will be careful, the effect of people choosing meds as they wake up will make it more difficult to spot a pattern. But we should still try. I have misgivings about consigning the watcher action to the bin, but the people have spoken, and in the interest of progressing I'll join in: Vote: Carl 'Black Beast' Pie (CallMePie)
Shadows Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Jesus didn't write plays, idiot. It was Harriet the Slut. Don't you know anything about history? I didn't say he did, I just used his name in vain or something. Wait... What's this? *picks up a piece of paper* Oh, apparently someone named 'Lady Dolores' wants me to tell you that your face is a slut. I have no idea who she is or what that means, but I'm intrigued. Um, will this posting stop people from going back for seconds? The nature of the meds "game mechanic" will naturally stop people from doing this if they're up to something. If I post it or not, people will know it's being watched. This way, it's all out in the open. Someone tell me if there's an angle I'm not considering. Well, stupid people might not have known it was being watched, but they do now, so you've pretty much screwed that up. Might as well go make a play about it. I personally will experiment as many medicines as I can during this ordeal, and when I find someone to trust, I will share their effects with them. Me too. I plan to try different things each day. It's like a drug buffet!
Rick Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Well, stupid people might not have known it was being watched, but they do now, so you've pretty much screwed that up. There are stupid people in here? Oh my, what did the Salty R-Dog get himself in to...
XimenaPaulina Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 WTF?!?! While I was porking Beast-boy in my bedroom, some mutherfucker stole my damn Blue Bennies!!!! Obviously, this is the work of Fraulein's scumbags who's targeting me! But why me?!? Has anyone experienced this too?
Rick Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Obviously, this is the work of Fraulein's scumbags who's targeting me! It could just be the workings of one of the pills.
Rufus Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 WTF?!?! While I was porking Beast-boy in my bedroom, some mutherfucker stole my damn Blue Bennies!!!! Obviously, this is the work of Fraulein's scumbags who's targeting me! But why me?!? Has anyone experienced this too? Did Fraulein tell you this had happened? Maybe you were targeted because someone thought your pills did something special: Fraulein talked to me privately (read: PM) and told me what was the effect of the pill, which I assume she did to all of us. So no special explanation or something.
