MakutaNocturn Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 I love Hero Factory Ride Along. This scene with Black Phantom and Evo throwing rubbish... just epic... Quote
Cirkit Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Was there a contest or something? Wait, I see the post. Never mind. There's a bunch of stop motion videos.. and one or two funny ones. "Heroes Catching Villains" and "Hero Factory Ride Along" were my favorites. I thought "Hero Spice" was going to be funnier than it was.. :/ Oh well. Quote
ZORK64 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 I asked today the employee's at my LEGO store, and they said the new sets will hit shelves in late june. Let's cross our fingers that they'll become available a bit earlier! Quote
Shakar Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I loved "Hero Factory Ride Along". Maybe because it reminds me so much of Death Valley, for some reason. With a title like that, I thought "Heroes Don't Get Paid" would have been really funny, but it was rather mediocre. Haven't watched the rest yet. Quote
MakutaDreadscythe Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Hey guys, they've updated the socket joints on Toxic Reapa's feet. No more claw-feet breakage! WOOHOO! Quote
Aanchir Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Hey guys, they've updated the socket joints on Toxic Reapa's feet. No more claw-feet breakage! WOOHOO! Whoa, really? Have you seen the new feet? We knew that those had been redesigned, but I'm very impressed if they're already showing up in sets. I wasn't expecting them to show up until a later wave of sets that reused that foot piece. Quote
vexorian Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 ooh ooh. I hope the lot that comes to my store is the new one. Quote
Kalhiki Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Got any pics? I'd love to see how they look (yeah, I know they look the same, just with the new socket. But I still want to see it). Glad they're updating the parts. I wonder if they'll give the first Breakout wave the remolded Glatorian heads if they're giving them the remolded feet. Unless the Glatorian heads are too new to do so. Kalhiki Quote
MakutaDreadscythe Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 (edited) Well, since you all asked. The other foot is for comparison. Don't worry, Reapa came with two. Edited June 11, 2012 by MakutaDreadscythe Quote
Phantoka_Chirox Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Well, since you all asked. snip The other foot is for comparison. Don't worry, Reapa came with two. Looks like i'll be getting Reapa next. Quote
Shakar Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Those look great. I already got an extra Reapa however, and I'm not sure if I need another one for now. I'll wait for a sale. I really hope they do the same thing with Glatorian heads. Quote
vexorian Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Anyone got ideas as to how to recognize if a reapa bag has the new feet? Quote
MakutaDreadscythe Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Anyone got ideas as to how to recognize if a reapa bag has the new feet? I'm just gonna assume new shipments have the feet. If you wanna make sure, I'd suggest trying the LEGO Shop until it's widespread; it may just be like Jetbug...which makes me sad. Quote

Gatanui Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Too bad I already have Toxix Reapa. Thanks for the pics, though! A German online store states this Thursday as release date. I´ll be in the LEGO Store then. -Gata Quote
DraikNova Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I might just get another Toxic Reapa just for the feet and the great selection of parts. Quote
Cirkit Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 That was unexpected! I thought we'd have to wait another wave before those started coming in sets. They look good, really nothing's seemed to change but the socket, and I'm just fine with that. Now all we have to wait for are the heads :D Quote
turtleman2020 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Yes! fixed claw feet ihave so many of them and probably 3 percent ofd them are not broken. The new sockets are so great however the original sockets were fine and the newish ones were horrible and broke all the time. The HF ones never break. Quote
xxlrocka Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 I got Evo, Toxic Reapa and Black Phantom yesterday! Okay, where to start...ah yes. Evo. Evo was okay, looking cool and that, but I think some more bulk should have been added to him. Toxic Reapa was excellent. No problems about this one, apart from the fact that I found it really hard to attach his feet to him, and I found it hard to attach his head to the trans orange (Maybe?) thing. Black Phantom. I loved him. He was the best one. Only downside is he uses the Fire Lord build. Quote

Shakar Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Most definitely. Jetpacks, giant guns, trans. visors, creepy tentacled abominations and what rti not. Sorta like the Toa Phantoka as far as Heroes are concerned, but better. I know HF can pull it off. And totally unrelated, the more I see Core Hunter the more I think he'd look better with 1.0 feet. I tried building a sample of him with LDD, he looks good IMO. Quote
turtleman2020 Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Hero Factory needs to go to space. Totally agree. There could even be ships jetpacks and space adapted helmets Quote

Rocketbilly Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Gah! I bought a pair of Toxic Reapas just two nights ago. Both have the standard prone-to-breakages feet. Hopefully soon these feet will be widespread. I expect they'll be used in 2013 sets (assuming we're getting some!) Quote
