Gatanui Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 (edited) Don´t worry, I´m only going to review the four sets I got. Sorry about that Kalhiki. :( Anyway, I´m very glad you like the photo. Thanks a lot to DV for the link about the light box. ^^ -Gata Edited July 4, 2012 by Gatanui Quote
Aethersprite Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Can't wait for your reviews, Gata! Anyway, I know this is really late... But is there any chance we might get an exclusive set? We haven't had one of those in the 2.0 system. Quote

We haven't had one of those in the 2.0 system. I think we would have heard by now. And also there would be a villain with some protagonism in the story that did not appear as set. Quote
refriedbeans Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Full reviews tomorrow. -Gata Oh my goodness...he's gorgeous! Must have! Quote
DraikNova Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Exclusive Von 2.0 (Villain factory upgrades)? Quote
ZORK64 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Really sweet picture Gatanui. I'm looking forward to you review (even though I already got Stringer)! Quote
Aethersprite Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Posted this before but it when unnoticed: Does anyone have the bags for Toxic Reapa with both the old and the new updated feet? I'm wondering if it's possible to tell if a set has the updated feet from the packaging, perhaps the barcode like the old CMFs. Quote
DarkSurgeXL Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Am i the only one who thinks that Stringer's body is too small for his helmet? Quote
DraikNova Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Yup, a little to small, so I'm going to give him the larger skeleton piece for my revamp. Quote
Aanchir Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Am i the only one who thinks that Stringer's body is too small for his helmet? By body, do you mean just his torso, or his body as a whole? His legs are longer than his 2010 incarnation (in which the helmet debuted) and his torso is the same height but with narrower shoulders, so unless you have an idea of how to make him more "buff" then I can't think of how you might improve him. Also after reading Gatanui's Stringer review I feel oddly compelled to draw an illustration of Stringer rocking out with DJ-PON3... Quote
Charmander11 Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Stringer, Voltix, Breez, Thornraxx, Speeda, and Nex are now available on the Toys R Us USA website :D Quote

TheDesuComplex Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 On Shop@Home (in the US at least) they've put all the Hero Factory sets on sale- including the first-wave Breakout sets. Any inherent reason as to why they're clearing out this relatively new stock? Quote

Any inherent reason as to why they're clearing out this relatively new stock? It seems like summer wave is getting closer and closer Even if i want to hope so, i don't think it's true. As it's too arly for summer sets starting showing up in USA. Btw Herofactory.com is updated with Evo and Toxic Reapa and there is one more video we haven't seen yet. Quote

Anyway, I believe we already knew all the videos that have been added now, didn´t we? The new background is neat. -Gata Edited July 6, 2012 by Gatanui Quote

I could see this in a 'split' year like last year (with the waves having separate themes). However, the winter and summer waves are connected thematically this year and are meant to form one cohesive group of simultaneous missions. Probably just a Lego-Business oddity though. And savings for us. Quote

As it's too arly for summer sets starting showing up in USA. How is it to early? Besides ast year, we typically got summer sets around this time, if not earlier! Especially with Hero Factory and Bionicle. I remember with the Mahri we got them June 30th! Quote

DraikNova Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 As soon as they all show up around here, I'm going to buy them ALL. And make some more cool revamps. Core Hunter will be scrapped for parts to use on Stringer though, and Voltix for Von Nebula 2.0. Quote

vexorian Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 So, I got thornraxxx and ... the wings were bended :( Quote
DraikNova Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Yup, had that problem too. And I'm actually planning to make a Von Ness 4.0. Quote
KazeMonsuta Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 So, I got thornraxxx and ... the wings were bended :( I had the same problem when I got mine in April. Just proves how bad the packaging design is. A box or canister would have protected it better. Pressure from outside wouldn't affect the parts that much if the packaging was not bendable too. Try flexing them gently into the other direction than they are pointing right now. If it keeps going back don't worry using force. The parts can sustain it, as they are thick enough. With that I got mine nearly straight again. Quote
