Jetrax99 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) And it better be brushable, damn it! No. Way. In. Hell. I. Would. Not. Like. That. Too. Messy. Edited July 19, 2012 by Jetrax99 Quote
DraikNova Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Yup, I want a female villain too. Just to show that female characters can be evil too, and not just in Roodaka's seductress-like way. BTW, using the new lightning pieces you can create a sort of hair. I would like a titan-sized green or yellow female villain, just so that we have something completely different from normal. Also, the idea of robot werewolves is a good one. Would that mean that if LEGO made a set like that we would get a new or recoloured wolf/dog helmet? Quote
Jetrax99 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) So cirkit, I messed around in LDD and here's what I have so far. Click here....NOW ideas on how to make the head and ideas for the weapon please. and if we do get a female villain as the big bad one year, it should be someone nobody has heard of. Edited July 19, 2012 by Jetrax99 Quote
DraikNova Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) NICE. If you make the arms symmetrical, so there are shields on both sides, it will have a bit of a reptilian look. Can't wait to see the final product! PS: Either turn a helmet upside-down or use some weapons to make the head. Edited July 19, 2012 by DraikNova Quote
Dorek Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 and if we do get a female villain as the big bad one year, it should be someone nobody has heard of. Why? Breez should totally turn into an evil robot, get a power upgrade, then encounter someone Heroes she has met before in an attempt to bring her down. Wait... Quote
gundamsandwich Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Has anyone seen the summer sets in shops in the uk yet? Quote
CabooseBM Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 If we do get a female villain, it should be an "old lady" character with an exo-suit, kinda like if Dr. Wily were a woman. I mean first of all, exo-suits are awesome, and subverting expectations is even better. Quote
Nike2032 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) Has anyone seen the summer sets in shops in the uk yet? I don't think they're out yet unfortunately, which is kinda weird since hero factory/bionicle summer sets normally release during late June/early July. However, the new argos catalogue is coming out this saturday on the 21st and im guessing it will have the summer sets Oh, and welcome to Eurobricks! Edited July 19, 2012 by Nike2032 Quote
turtleman2020 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I hope that in 2013 we see heroes and villains with this hand design since we have been seeing bits of system here and there. Quote
DraikNova Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Well, I doubt LEGO is going to use a posable hand design, because: 1: It's more difficult for them to hold things. And 2: Would just be more parts and would therefore cost more. Quote
vexorian Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 They should try at least a couple of large sets with at least exo-force style fingers. They managed to be able to hold technic weapons just fine. Besides, weapons tend to be 80% system already. Quote
DraikNova Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I want another (preferably in trans-purple or trans-light blue, although trans-yellow or clear would be nice) one of those awesome hex shields in the next wave. Quote
MakutaDreadscythe Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 In response to Cirkit, I would really like said female villain to have a build that shows she's female. Color, mainly silver, with some purple parts to break up the colors. In regards to personality, I'm gonna have to think more on that, but I'm leaning towards something similar to CLU. And she need to have hair, LONG, PURPLE HAIR. no idea about the weapon yet. I'm gonna fool around in LDD for a bit and show what I come up with. Okay, I'm calling it. Cute as hell pink/purple villain with a GIANT HAMMER OF DEATH. Quote
Shakar Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 @DraikNova Ditto. I was kinda disappointed to see no Hex Shield recolours in Summer. I'm not sure about tr. purple/tr. yellow/clear since those colours are respectively nonexistent/extremely rare/nonexistent in HF, but I can see 2013 Stormer being equipped with a Tr. Medium Blue or Tr. Dark Blue (I'm using Bricklink names, BTW) shield. While all these discussions are interesting, I fear we're going off topic. Peraphs we should make a "Future Hero Factory sets Predictions and Discussion" or something to that effect. Quote
DraikNova Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 There already was one in early 2011, but it has been abandoned. Quote
JaeYeon eom Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 at Korea StormerXL is 35900won(35900원). expensive than USA. but low priced than Europe. 35900won=32dollar=25euro (I finished exam, i'm free!) Quote

DraikNova Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Anyway, can someone find me the old HF suggestions topic, started in 2011? Quote
ZORK64 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Why does everyone want zombies? Honestly, if you need undead, I find that skeletons are perfectly fine. Anyway, I've heard something about an ice-themed wave, called Empire of Frost. Has anyone else heard of it? I second both statements. Skeletons are way cooler than dull zombies, and Ice-themed stuff would be cool. But I think undead characters wouldn't work well in Hero Factory anyway. Except a grim reaper. Though I gotta admit, I never interpreted that Piraka guy as a grim reaper, simply because his cape was lacking a hood. Quote
Zarkan Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) Anyway, I've heard something about an ice-themed wave, called Empire of Frost. Has anyone else heard of it? If this turns out to be true, it better be better than Hero Factory's first element themed wave. I still thing Ordeal of Fire was by far the worst thing Hero Factory has put out. Fortunately, now that TLC's set designers are getting more used to the theme, and realize making the individual heroes as unique as possible is crucial, this is probably very likely. But man, what I still really want is a space theme. Between heroes designed to look like they are wearing space armor, and disgustingly cool space aliens, a theme like this might actually get me to invest in Hero Factory. That, and/or Teal and/or Purple heroes. Edited July 19, 2012 by Zarkan Quote

Cirkit Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 So cirkit, I messed around in LDD and here's what I have so far. Click here....NOW ideas on how to make the head and ideas for the weapon please. Looks.. well, looks like Fire-Lord with lilac bones. I would think that a villain, female or male, would stick with the bone colors already readily available. However, I like the method used for the torso there. I'm not sure what you'd use for weapons or a head. I may have been building with action-figurebuilding system for a while, but I haven't had too much head-building experience. As for weapons, 3 out of 5 of the titan villain sets of the last few years have had staffs.. why not make this villain have something different? Like arm-blades or something. Why? Breez should totally turn into an evil robot, get a power upgrade, then encounter someone Heroes she has met before in an attempt to bring her down. Wait... Hahaha... hilarious. Quote
DraikNova Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) I like the method used for the torso there. I haven't been able to figure out what the connection used there is. Can someone please explain it? Except a grim reaper. Though I gotta admit, I never interpreted that Piraka guy as a grim reaper, simply because his cape was lacking a hood. Wait, you thought Vezon looked at all like a grim reaper? But man, what I still really want is a space theme. Between heroes designed to look like they are wearing space armor, and disgustingly cool space aliens, a theme like this might actually get me to invest in Hero Factory. That, and/or Teal and/or Purple heroes. Yes, we need purple heroes. Using both the old upper armor holder in purple, the new basic armor used for all heroes and some villains in mettalic cobalt, and the old core in gold. Plus, it would need a cannon. And a scope/zoom lens. Edited July 19, 2012 by DraikNova Quote
