Just wanted to share a little modification I did with three simple pieces for fellow Stringer to be able to actually hold his weapon like a guitar. I only watched the Breakout episode once so I don't remember exactly if he holds it like this or not, but either way, I do like it more than the official connection.

Glorious.

Something so simple pulling off so much awesomeness.

Great. He holds it the other way around, but this is closer than the set to what he looks like in the episode.

EDIT: LegoJang's video review of Speeda Demon is out! Again, split into three parts.

Executed perfectly _shaddow_

Yeah, just saw the review, I still hate it.For some reason the bike looks to gappy in some parts and Speeda Demon(though with a cool name JK  )still looks like a goblin to me,in fact with those gold blades sticking out of his head he looks like the Green Goblin  .

Your point being? He still has great MOCcing parts. I'm going to use his trans green armor pieces to further upgrade Toxic Reapa and use his lime green armor for Surge and a Breakout XL Hero I'm working on, who I'll also give two purple scout drones BTW.

Excellent mod _shaddow_! I'll be sure to use it on my Stringer, and I shall give due credit if I ever bing myself to post my HF mods.

@Kadabra: good! We're missing clear shots of Nex and XT4.

Jang posted his review of Demon, good. I'll post some comments here later.

Hopefully I'll be able to swing by TRU today. Maybe they've restocked with the small sets (didn't have em last time). I really want Stringer.

Also looking forward to Nex and XT4 reviews. They're some I'm really wanting, but mixed views put me on edge (especially with XT4).

Hopefully, your'e probably going to get them, because you got the summer sets before me(or at least,I think).I barely got Voltix and Core Hunter yesterday(they also had Stormer XL, but the price :ugh: )and I checked constantly at TRU until yesterday.

Wait, you thought Vezon looked at all like a grim reaper?

No, but someone else did when the grim reaper idea was mentioned.

Just as I said, I never thought of Vezon as a grim reaper. I never saw a resemblance there.

And yeah, _shadow_'s mod on Stringer is glorious. If the guitar of my Stringer hadn't got a new design for the upper part, I'd use the same idea.

It's too bad that I'm going to have to wait two weeks to check again. But since I'm going to NYC during my vacation, I'll be able to check there!

Well, the small sets weren't there, but I did get Breez. Such a great looking figure. The colors are pretty well balanced, and the return of the Breez helm and the 1.0 feet (some of my favorite pieces) is more than welcome.

Still want Stringer though...

Breez does have some pretty great pieces, the shield included. Glad I got her a while back. Actually, she was one of the first heroes I bought this year. Just a plain awesome set; you get a red plasma blaster, two of the new blades and a hex shield in red.

Yep, Stringer does have something to be desired by many, maybe its the guitar or the torso body, even the speaker part is awesome, but maybe it's his overall appearance with that modification that _shaddow_ made.

Kalhiki, you could order him from Amazon Or TRU.com.That's how I got Core Hunter, Just Helping

Yeah, I could, but I prefer to get my figures in stores. But you know, by the time I finish purchasing the larger scaled figures, the smaller sets will probably be out. And since I plan to get most of the figures, it's really no problem to wait until then.

Yeah, that does seem like a good idea to pass time. That's what I do sometimes I just wait for them,if they're bad sets in my opinion  .

I plan to get all HF sets this year. And I believe what everybody wants from Stringer are six parts: the silver blaster, the silver MTIS, the amp armor add-on and his trans blue chest armor.

I never get all of the sets for myself, because I have two siblings who also like Hero Factory and it does us little good to have duplicates. That's one of the reasons I'm grateful the sets this year are divisible by three!

In the past of course I haven't worried about us having all the sets even as a family. We still don't have Nitroblast, for instance, and my younger brother is the only one of us to have any of the 2010 sets (he has Bulk & Vapour, Furno Bike, and Von Nebula).

This year the set I'm most looking forward to getting is still Breez. The other summer sets are all great, mind you, but I've had my heart set on getting Breez since the winter sets were revealed, and she has lots of great pieces.
