Weird thing about the "Paraents" yes. Why isn't one of the coolest sets of the year (XT4) have his own commerical? He's awesome! BTW, good comparison with Breez-Thornraxx. Why is Bulk's gun in the Voltix-Stringer movie a black version of his 1.0 gun?\

Also, I like Nex's movie version. It's better than both Evo's and Rocka's. I like the use of a white MTIS.

I've got an idea that they are making commercial for HF sets with higher price than 9$. Because the smaller ones cost 7$, yes? I don't know but if I'm wrong correct me because I'm not interested in American pices

Actually the prices are(USA):Smaller Sets = $9.99,:Larger Sets = $12.99,:Titans = $Ranges from $20.00 to $34.99(Speeda Demon). The commercial actually does have one $9.99 set, which is Stringer facing Voltix, but the other commercials have bigger sets, which in my opinion is to make the customers want those sets to spend more money, honestly its just marketing to the consumer.

Which is simply supply and demand if demand increases and supply remains unchanged, then it leads to higher equilibrium price and higher quantity, if demand decreases and supply remains unchanged, then it leads to lower equilibrium price and lower quantity, if supply increases and demand remains unchanged, then it leads to lower equilibrium price and higher quantity, if supply decreases and demand remains unchanged, then it leads to higher equilibrium price and lower quantity.P.S. I'm so lazy right now I just copied and pasted

What. The. Hell. xD Now I know that my english is poor xD

Anyway. I don't know if you said that but TLG is trying to show sets with higher price in "cool action" because many of young children sitting in the front of TV will see that person and it will cause a situation that the child wants that set because it was showed. Oh... What did I write?

What you just said is what I said but differently on the top half of my comment ,but yeah what you said takes the point across, that is what the potential of all of commercials,to make people want what they see on commercial. The thing about Lego though is that they add cgi which adds more to the commercial and also make advertisement for the game on Hero Factory.com.(Poor toddlers, they probably think the cgi actually happens when they see the set :cry_sad: ).

I love that little torso, though the neck could have been a module longer. Still, it opens lots of opportunities for small scale MOCs, without resorting to awkward custom torsos or the horrible, blocky Avtoran/Agori ones.

XT4 is cool, aside from the tubing sticking out of his belly. I like Nex, though his weapon is really lacking (it suits is inventor/engineer character, however). I would've liked some sort of buzzsaw, as a throwback to Nex 2.0..

^Do it, I'm curious.

So I got my PaB order today, and the spare black/green Breez katana (from Black Phantom's mace) I ordered had a lime green straight blade instead of a bright green one.

Did anyone have this problem in their BP set?

Done, and done.

For your second bit, no, I haven't had that problem, though the colours were slightly different.

Does it really match your lime green parts perfectly? What does it look like when backlit? I ask because the type of plastic that part is made from won't necessarily have the "glassy" look which is typical of transparent parts, but rather looks just slightly translucent. Compare the flames on Malum's flame claws, which are actually Transparent Bright Orange, the lightning on Surge's electricity shooter, which is Transparent Blue, or the blades of Stormer XL's sword, which I believe are Transparent Fluorescent Blue, though I could be wrong about that one.

It's possible that the Black Phantom set can contain a variant that uses Bright Yellowish Green (Lime), but I don't think you would have gotten that in a Pick-A-Brick order, when the part advertised on Pick-A-Brick has the Element ID of the Transparent Bright Green version.

So, here's the best photo I managed to take so far. The difference between the greens of the blades is more noticeable IRL, I don't think the photo does it proper justice. Compared to official lime, it's not a perfect match (it's brighter).

I don't understand the interest in XT4. I have him, he's boring, and his parts aren't all that interesting either. The small torso is welcome, but otherwise, meh. Debating doing the official BZP review of him. So spoiler, I guess?

Well, you spoilered the review so you might as well do it now. : P

I don't think XT4 is that popular- most agree with you, he's a boring set mostly worth getting for the torso. Personally, he's the summer set I'm least interested in, though I'm still going to get him for completition sake/enemy to pair with Nex/small torso.

As for the other parts...well he's a cheap and easy way to get that cool buzzsaw piece. And he has 2 black 6M shells, which are really rare.

I kinda like XT4 (judging by pics and videos). Is he the best? Absolutely not. But I'll still end up getting him. However, he'll probably be my last purchase.

Still need to get Stringer. Hopefully I'll find him on Friday when we go shopping.

Alright, in honor of the release of the Breakout game update, Kahinuva and I have done a playthrough of all of the new levels, plus some uncompleted levels from last time. Kahi's first playthrough was pretty popular, so we're hoping this one will get some attention.

First off, here's our playthrough of

You also hated Mazeka. Therefore, your opinion is invalid >=(

But seriously, it is kind of interesting how he went from most despised at reveal to most beloved at launch, and theoretically back to despised at full release. I'm still in the camp of "quirky and enjoyable, if not solid and fantastic", so I'd like to get him regardless.

Edit: Also Mesonak you should post a guide to all the levels that way I can steal it and use it on HS01 :>

Summer sets now available in UK and Ireland, too.

Please make the XT4 review, DV. I finally want to get good photos of him. :sceptic:

Huh. It does look discolored, but it definitely doesn't look like it uses bright yellowish green plastic, so I'm guessing it's just a matter of variance within the color. I wonder if that might be common with transparent bright green, and it's just not noticeable on parts made in polycarbonate plastic? But then I guess people would have observed the same effect with Meltdown's toxic waste canister thingies (I don't think those are polycarbonate)... Well, I guess time will tell whether this was a fluke or it's a common variation.

I love XT4. I think his color scheme is organized marvelously, he's got some tasteful asymmetry, and overall he's a very unique-looking villain set. Great parts, too. The only fault I find with him is that unlike some theme villains, his "robot" design theme doesn't make him feel all that special in a universe of living robots... not like the other theme villains of 2010 and 2012 whose themes tended to have something to do with their weapons or powers. That, and I don't think his head piece seems especially useful.

On a side note, if what I saw at Toy Fair is true of the final set, then his buzz saw is Silver Metallic rather than Medium Stone Grey. If that's the case, then this set is not only possibly the cheapest way to get one of those, it's the only way to get one in that color.

Yup, it's Flat Silver, and this is the only set with it so far. Also, I'd highly recommend you guys check out LEGOJANG at hero-factory.blogspot.com if you want reviews of Nex and XT4 as his are infinitely higher quality than mine and we share many of the same opinions. Also, it would mean I can be lazy and not finish my reviews.

If (and hopefully when) I purchase XT4, it'll be for his buzzsaw, black 6M cladding, and the bone pieces that the black cladding connects to. Never had those before in the HF system (at least not that I know of), and certainly not in that bright light grey. Those two parts would work perfectly for a samurai-based MOC I'm working on.. had a slight niggle with the legs, but those two bones should fix it.

They were the upper arms of Rocka XL, just to let you know.

I love XT4. Initially I hated his lack of armor and asymmetry but now it has grown on me. Also, I grabbed Stringer today and I loved him, besides the way his gun is built. Is there any more-stable-than-a-ball-and-socket solution out there for the inner construction anyone has come up with?

I did some mods to my Core Hunter to improve his look in my eyes:

I didn't want make a separated topic since it's just these two pictures.

What pieces did you use to fix his back, might I ask?
