Usually when we get leaked pics from the retail catalogue the action figure themes tend to turn up last. A lot of AFOLS don't realy care for action figures and sometimes even focus on Star Wars or licensed themes entirely - which is why the Superheroes and Star Wars forums are discussing the names of sets taken from the catalogue and the rest of the themes have nothing.

The names came from the same catalogue, but whoever leaked the information was obviously biased towards other themes, which is a shame but just how it is. We'll get our pics eventually though, I don't remember a year recently where we've not seen the retail catalogue leaked completely.

Seriously though, the images we see from the retailers catalogue are most often taken by a well connected AFOL who was lucky enough to be allowed to look at the catalogue during a visist to a store.

They usually don't actually own the catalogue themselves, at least as far as I'm aware. I think there was a situation recently where an AFOL either had a copy themselves or borrowed it from a retailer they were friendly with, but most of the time I think it's just a case of a lucky fan taking the opportunity to share a sneak peak with the rest of us and taking pictures during that brief window of opportunity.

Not sure if you are serious or not, but a quick Google Search tells me the Freedom of Information Act only applies to governmental documents.

I actually have a summer 2011 retailer catalogue at home. However, the store that gave it to me tends to get retailer catalogues later in the year, so by the time they get it I'm sure pictures will already have surfaced.

Yeah, we got the pictures for Ordeal of Fire on September 23rd, and the pictures of Breakout on September 14th. Pictures for other themes had been circulating for days beforehand for all other themes.

If the catalog has already been acquired by somebody, then we may seen an early revealing this year. But I guess we'll see.

Let's hope there's lots of purple. I want a purple Hulk/Stormer XL chestplate! And a black plasma blaster top. And a purple plasma blaster. And a purple bionicle hand. Sorry for that rant, but there just isn't enough purple in HF.

All of those pieces would be useful, though I'm hoping rather for purple feet, hands and some sort of purple helmet. We already have purple clading between Voltix and The Joker to be able to make a mostly purple character, but with these extra elements then we'd be able to make an all purple figure, well, mostly. Obviously there'd be things like bones, weapons and the head to take into account but a figure that is literally completely purple would look a bit odd to me anyway. I hope we get a teal character, too. As great as Thronraxx is, imagine how cool it woul dbe to have more teal bones or cladding!

That would be cool. Personally for next year I'd like to see glow in the dark pieces, or more transparent ones. I think it'd be cool to have, say, glow in the dark bones with transparent cladding over the top, or just glow in the dark cladding. I also think it would be great to have transparent bones, but I doubt we'd get these for several reasons - the friction would be too great so connecting them together would be difficult, for a start, which is a shame really.

LoL ,but yeah looked up Medium Azure and found a lego piece that has that color scheme ..Turquoise and Aqua look so similar to Azure.

Well yeah, Medium Azure is the proper LEGO name, but not a lot of fans really use that...though I prefer using the lego names to AFOL nomenclature most times, sometimes it just slips out

I hope we get at least a set list soon...it furstrates me that most every year we action figrue fans have to wait until last to see the pics/lists of the upcoming sets. It makes sense though. Is this off topic? I supppse it's a little early to open a 2013 Hero Factory topic...perhaps a 2013 wish list until we've got something more concrete?

In all serious though I just looked back at the topic start dates. Took me maybe 15 seconds for both of them.

And yeah, I fully support more azure pieces. I'd say that far outweighs purple as the new priority color. There are obviously more purple pieces that could be made, but for the first time since... well, ever, I feel that we have a good enough amount of purple pieces.

In stark contrast to medium azure which has two pieces.
