Regarding motives, one good thing about this line for me over here is the price. Small sets have gone dowm from £7.99 to £6.99, which rocks, and even Black Phantom is cheaper than Fire Lord, from £17.99 to £14.99! :sweet:

convert that to USD and you're still shelling out $20 for a titan set.

speaking of which, Toys 'R' Us has jacked up BP's price to $24.99

Hello!

Not sure how much it's related, but are they continuing the LDD project? If so, when are they going to do the next update? I'm pretty anxious to build with the new pieces, as I have some real life future MOCs to plan out.

About Splitface, I've always been a bigger fan of the titanium metal half and Omicron's picture just confirmed that. As far as the red half goes, I'm not too fond of the shoulder pad(s) on the hip(s), as much as I appreciate having three of those pieces (and in a set-exclusive colour, too). And then there's the launcher part which is in titanium metallic, which really kills the whole "half-half" look IMO. I didn't have many problems with the titanium metallic chestplate (I love it quite a lot, actually) in the regular set, but in the 100% 85% (yeah, random percentage ) red Splitface it stands out too much.

I never planned to make three different Splitfaces anyway, however I think I will end up buying buy three copies of him regardless: one to keep as the original (with some minor tweaks, as usual) set, the other two will be useful for an oooooold (2004 more or less) MOC idea of mine I never fully managed to turn into reality.

Well, I got my Breakout sets (all, minus Furno, Breez, and Thornraxx).

Reapa is all sorts of win. Trans lime! Woot!

And Evo is much better than anticipated. Absolutely love his Tank Arm.

Splitface is cool. Actually kinda creepy. Liking him quite a bit.

Haven't opened the others. I'll get to them tomorrow.

Well over here thats not much of an issue. It's still a price drop nonetheless.

You can see Stringer too :D

Wow...first Voltix, then Stormer, now Stringer? LEGO seems very eager to show off the summer wave, so with this new footage it's easier to judge him as...well, quite cool looking, though it now looks like the blue's here to stay, which is disappointing considering Surge also has a blue chest. :sceptic:

Still don't get why they changed Stringer's colors, but oh well. I'll just used that set for parts and keep the 3.0 version.

Is it just me or does Surge sounds different?

While Lego is giving hints of summer sets in these videos, please show Core Hunter in one.

Wait, watching the Splitface vs. Surge (Both names start with S, huh) video, I noticed something on the group shot.

Where's Breez?

Not only that, but where's Nex and Bulk? Perhaps they're a seperate unit?

So the only Hero sets we haven't seen (in the catch-and-cuff videos) are Breez, Nex, and Bulk. I could understand why TLG's not showing Nex and Bulk, summer sets and all, but where the heck is Breez?? I mean really.

The music in the videos don't seem as fitting with the action scenes as the Rocka video was.. but there's not much I can do about that.

I found this. And I think it's 100% true because the third Ninjago season turned out to be true and the names of the episodes were 140% real.

EDIT: Since the name has nothing to do with the summer theme, I suppose it's the name of the 2013 episode. (That means the 2013 sets are going to be water themed)

Stringer looks to be a deeper color blue than Surge in that video to me. Or I'm color blind.

No, he definitely has a darker blue on him. I wonder if his head will be a darker blue.

Yup, we really are spoiling the endings with each of these videos XP. I suppose last winter did something similar, but there was a reason for that. Ah well.

Furno v Jawblade is exactly how I pictured it, so that makes me happy. Cool underwater setting, though Jawblade is a bit comical with his hands. Surge v Splitface was also actually really cool. Maybe it's just because I've been finishing off the Ender's Game series recently, but they treated space fighting with a surprising amount of deference; relatively accurate, all things considered, at least in terms of forces and lack of gravity. They could have easily just gone "olol they have magic gravity inducing boots" or some nonsense.

So yeah, Breez seems to be AWOL =P. We'll probably get a video of her at some point and then everybody will forget that it was ever a thing, but it is a bit strange, especially since she seems to be only partially stocked in some places (again, also more than likely a non-issue, since there hasn't technically been a wide-release yet).

Not sure what to make of that episode list; could very well be faked, since they only recently added Savage Planet anyway, and certainly not until after it had aired =P. I'm sticking to my "one episode in the summer" theory; they'll tease us with winter Breakout endings because we won't actually get an episode until the summer; there, every single Breakout line will be resolved. It'll make the episode snappy (unless they fragment it into another miniseries), but it'll finish off everything at once.

Congrats TLG you finally made me wet myself

Anyway, the new sets should be in over the next few days in LEGO Stores, as I think Cardiff have new stock in.

Interesting to see Stringer as well. Judging by a split-second shot, it seems his chest detailing will be a sort of speaker texture type of design. But I could be totally wrong.

That dancing Evo is amazing.

So apparently there's a new comic of sorts in an upcoming LEGO mag; BZP member unknown_user2596 posted links to it.

Page 2

The dialogue is getting worse and worse, but the art is fantastic as ever (still Damaso, so... sweet). Plus, it offers a conclusion for entering the club-code (unfortunately, LEGO doesn't seem to have uploaded it yet XP), which is a promising new technique for them to use. If all comics were distributed in such a manner in the future, that could be pretty cool.
