I want him to be like some half-car-half-robot thing.

Not like a Transformer but an upper body with some wheels instead of feet.

Hmm, like a centaur, with wheels for feet, perhaps?

Happy new year c:

Plz. No villain with beast, got tired of beasts from HF.

Why not? I love Bionicle/HF beasts. Or a chariot like the Baranus would be epic.

Just wanted to share that service.LEGO.com has been updated with building instructions for most 2012 sets released so far, including Hero Factory sets. There are both US and EU versions for most building instructions except Breez and Thornraxx, which only have the EU ones (reflecting those sets' delayed release over here). The images in the building instructions are remarkably high-quality.

The sets have also been added to the replacement parts server at service.LEGO.com, but as of yet there are no shiny, beautiful renders for any of the new parts.

According to this website, we now have piece counts for the summer 2012 sets.

Nex: 39 pieces

XT4: 39 pieces

Stringer: 42 pieces

Voltix: 61 pieces

Bulk: 61 pieces

Core Hunter: 51 pieces

Stormer XL: 89 pieces (85 pieces LESS than Rocka XL)

Speeda Demon: 192 pieces (143 LESS than Witch Doctor)

Keep in mind that Stormer and Speeda will be (presumably) sold for the same price as their respective counterparts from last year. I'm very disheartened by the amount of pieces in Stormer XL; it's a worse deal than Scorpio, who I thought deserved a $20 price tag. I'm a bit more forgiving of Speeda Demon because he still has a sizable amount of pieces to justify a $30 price tag, though only 18 more than Rocka XL.

Still, I could rant about the amount of parts all I want, but this could all change come Toy Fair, so I'm going to calm down.

The prices are by no means officially confirmed, so I wouldn't get upset about it yet. Furthermore, Stormer clearly has some fairly large pieces which would bump up the price per piece more. The same could be true for Speeda Demon, especially considering Witch Doctor was composed of many more small Technic pieces than any other Hero Factory set in the new system. Maybe Speeda Demon will be more composed of the new system. That said, it is still a pretty significant drop in number of pieces for both of them, but waiting out until Toy Fair to make a final decision seems like a good idea for a lot of people in this thread.

For stormer being XL, he certainly looks normal hero sized in those videos albeit a little wider, So I'm wondering if his figure is even going to be all that big at all.

As for speed demon, I'm going to put my prediction down saying it's another fire lord-styled build. Not placing a bet down on it, but I certainly see that as a more likely fallback forthat amount of parts than some fancy vehicle thing.

It's pretty obvious that the prices will be:

Nex - $7.99 (£6.99)

XT4 - $7.99 (£6.99)

Bulk - $12.99 (£9.99)

Core Hunter - $12.99 (£9.99)

Stormer XL - $24.99 (£14.99)

Speeda Demon - $29.99 (Probably around £24.99)

Stringer - $7.99 (£6.99)

Voltix - $12.99 (£9.99)

Hmm, you might be right. We could get all hyped up on a possible vehicle or half-humanoid, and if it turns out to be like FL we would be really disappointed. Guess we have to lower our expectations!

Splitface is a great looking figure, but uses the standard humanoid build, so nothing special there. But the overall look is cool and somewhat creepy.

Don't have the others, but I've heard nothing but good comments about Breez and Thornraxx.

I've heard mixed opinions about Furno.

Even if it turns out to be a FL clone, it still has to have a special jetpack or wheels.

Thank you, my friend. Definitely excited to pick these guys up! The pictures of Breez I've seen are pretty good, and I love the Dark Azure on Thornraxx. Furno I'll just get for MOCing parts. Splitface seems the best out of the four. He seems like such a Batman-esque villain. I am gonna buy three: one to make a red Splitface, one to make a gunmetal, and one with both.

Going to the LEGO Store tomorrow to get Thornraxx, Furno, Breez and Splitface. Can anyone tell me if they are worth it or not? I currently have all of the others.

Are Breez and Thornraxx available in the US yet? I know LEGO said they'd add them to Shop@Home yesterday, but they haven't as of yet. Anyway, Breez and Thornraxx are brilliant, Splitface is good, and Furno is alright.

I think they should be out. It's already January.

Going later today. I will also do a review on Splitface if I get him.

That's what you'd think, but for some reason LEGO have delayed the release of Breez and Thornraxx in the US, I live in Europe, so I was already able to snag them before Christmas. Mesonak sent an email to LEGO asking about the delay, and they said they'd add them to the US Shop@Home on January 1st, but it looks like they haven't. Well, I hope they have them anyway; good luck.

I know that Lego won't listen to it but I wish Speeda Demon will look like these

I got excited because I thought those were links to real pictures.

dem crankcases and crowbars from transformers live-action series.

I would love to see Speeda Demon looking as one of the Dreads, but it's unlikely.

Hmm. I'm counting on it. They look like some very great sets!

Speeda Demon seems interestig. Can't wait to see pictures!

LegoPictureHQ (on Youtube) is posting a few more videos, one about the Summer Ninjago Booster Packs for example. I wonder if we will get to see Speed(a) Demon this time?

I asked him a while back if there was a "Speeda Demon" set in the catalog at all, and he responded saying he showed all the sets pictured. However, several other themes, such as Monster Fighters, Ninjago, etc, were not showed fully in their respective videos, so perhapss he had an out-dated catalog? Not sure.

So the second Breakout comic is out.

Not my favorite. It's nice to have a single story drag out and give a chance to showcase the beautiful art, but the dialogue was just as cheesy as indicated, and the moral is kind of dumb. Funny ending, though.

And it WAS written by Greg, so... I dunno. Mixed feelings.

"You can't rock Rocka" <- *facepalm*

"You better believe it!" <- Naruto..Is that you?

"Don't count on it BP" <- BP? BP?!.....Rocka...Y U NO..Ugh..forget it.

Cheesy comic is cheesy. :P

Maybe with wheels on the feet.

That's all I'm hoping for. Wheels on the feet, so throw in some Movie Sideswipe in there.

Would be cool if Lego could pull something like that off with the HF system.

I can't get over how cheesy some of the HF lines are in the comics and tv programs. Almost make my take look rated R during some of those moments.
