Hmmm.....Pretty cool. Also, Voltix has a Black Phantom helmet on his back.

That's what people said about some of our early screenshots from the Rocka video, too, but it's not actually true. The scene where he appears to have a Black Phantom helmet on his back actually shows his head, tilted forward with his eyes facing toward the floor. You can, however, see in that same picture that he has a 2.0 Hero foot on his back, much like Splitface, along with his "voltage booster switch" made of Technic elements connected to that same foot piece. Unfortunately based on what I saw at ToyFair this Hero foot will be black and not Medium Lilac.

Can't see much new in those screenshots other than Stormer's bike, which looks nice. I wonder if the real Stormer XL set will fit that well on the Furno bike or whether the scale's been distorted for the purposes of the episode.

in show Stormer is the same height as the rest of the heroes, so no, the set will not fit on the Furno bike.

It seems to me that Rocka, unbeknownst to the story of Von, may have accidentally set off the black hole and let out the villains. It would explain the image with Rocka and the staff.

.....Maybe.....

Edit: But then again, the images would need to be out of order for that to happen.

Breez with... Von Nebula in a menacing pose behind her.

...

I've seen enough movies to know how it will end.

Anyway, I wonder what that book will be about.

By the way, A.N. Author is bloody magnificent

Release date...? How is going to be this book, what is about, just heroes or their missions and changes across the time?

Any idea what this book will be like? Is it a story, or more of an information guide?

I'm hoping for the latter, personally. Given the description and title, plus the lack of a true author name, it looks like a guide. This might be a good thing too, especially if they elaborate on the Makuhero parts mentioned in the description.

It's a level two reader infoguide book, if it's the same thing as the B&N link I posted. Nothing interesting.

I finally built Jawblade today and man, he's great! So slick. So swooshawble. So firece looking. Lots of great recolours too- red new style ball-joints, recoloured Furno blades, tr orange 6M shell, silver Bulk 3.0 claw mount. And what a fun build, too!

Aren't there any news about the first breakout episode?

It appears to have premiered in South Korea (that's where it was, right?) already, but aside from that, we don't know too much. That's unfortunately the biggest failing of the Hero Factory line; they lump a lot of cool information on us at the beginning, but then news is totally stagnant until shortly before the TV show airs or until the new wave arrives.

Yeah, Jawblade is a cool set. My one complaint is the fin/legs thing; they can make some cool poses, but you always have to adjust them in order to get something else to pose correctly.

Ah, agreed on the back fins/legs. I guess Jawblade is meant to look the best when you hold him in the air, he's primarily a swimmer afterall.

By the way, I found some more pics of Toyfair here. I don't know where they're from- they seem to be from London judging from the background, but some sets are built wrong/are missing pieces (look at Bulk, Splitface, Speeda Demon).

Anyway, the pics are nowhere as good as BZP's and Cholie's, but they do show some sets from angles we didn't see before: in particular Bulk's picture slightly clarifies how his shoulder mounted rocket launcher attaches to the back.

Huh, those are actually some cool pictures.

I'm still pumped for Stormer and Speeda Demon, even though combined it's gonna be pretty expensive. Bulk is starting to look pretty snazzy too.

Those pictures are actually from New York. I know not only from being there but because the prices listed on the name cards are in U.S. dollars.

The pictures are nice but don't clarify one thing I found myself wondering after the Collectors Preview, that being what XT4's torso looks like underneath that armor. From the looks of things it would have a Technic pin hole and a ball joint in the same point in the center of the torso, which would arguably be possible but would be extremely unusual compared to what we've seen in other Hero Factory torso and leg beams.

The way Bulk's rocket launcher attaches to his back will probably be disappointing for a lot of people because it adds some superfluous red to the color scheme. But it should be no serious problem for the most devoted fans of Bulk to mod it with those parts in black, or with a different connection entirely.

The ones with the hole all the way through? Those were available last wave in the Witch Doctor, but have also been available en masse since the first wave of Indiana Jones sets, they were a running change in one of the Temple sets. I've had a few hundred of them I bought off of Bricklink several years ago.
