badboytje88 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I'd like to get a cool water from the water tap, since most important things have already been asked.
Bob Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 I'd like to ask Officer Patterson, if he knows about any major imprisonments or solved cases the Chief was involved into. Or if a criminal who was nabbed by the Chief has been released shortly before. Or if the chief had any other enemies known. And I'd also like to ask him if any citizen has a criminal record. And if he isn't able to answer one of these questions, I'd also ask him where we can find the answer to them. So basically I'm just asking him the questions the reporter couldn't answer. And I'd like to know how many rooms the police station has. "Like I said, the Chief hasn't really been involved in any cases, he simply supervises us. I can't remember if anyone was released off the top of my head, you'd have to check the criminal records. You can find the records in the file cabinet, however only police officers can check them." I'd like to check the cabinets (I think that's what they are) for any recent files that could be of use to us. The cabinets are locked; only police officers can open them. I'd like to know if there are any cases we have not heard about that remain unsolved. "The Lexington Police Department has closed every case that's ever been brought to us. " I'd like to know the what time the last shift that the chief worked was. The Chief clocked in at eight thirty yesterday morning, and clocked out at three thirty in the afternoon. I'd like to get a cool water from the water tap, since most important things have already been asked. Officer Hutch announces to the group his intentions, since his statement wasn't italicized. He then decides to go get water rather than announcing it. And I'd like to know how many rooms the police station has. The police station has three rooms: the first floor open squad room, the second floor open interrogation room, and the Chief's Office.
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 How well did you know the Chief, Officer Patterson? What was your opinion of him? Was he acting any differently yesterday than normal?
badboytje88 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I'd like to check the file cabinet since I am authorized (?) And I am looking for criminal records of towns people, criminals who just got out of jail, cases the chief was working on and any big cases that have been solved or not in the past. I also would like to try and find out if the chief had any major enemy.
Bob Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 How well did you know the Chief, Officer Patterson? What was your opinion of him? Was he acting any differently yesterday than normal? "I'd like to think I knew the Chief very well. I'd rather not speak ill of the dead, but he could get a bit rowdy when he was intoxicated. He wasn't acting very differently yesterday, but I didn't see him after he clocked out and left for the day. I'd like to check the file cabinet since I am authorized (?) badboytje88 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 In the records I came across three names, one of them a multiple times. There was one big case, but all those who were involved are still locked up in jail. The 3 persons with a record are: Jeremy Montgomery, Seth Barronm, James Swanson James Swanson has a couple of records on his name.

What was the big case about? And who is Seth Barronm? Never heard that name.
badboytje88 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 The only mention of the chief was in the big case. It was a bank robbery. I've never heard of Seth Barron. Who is Seth Barron?
Fugazi Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 The only mention of the chief was in the big case. It was a bank robbery. I've never heard of Seth Barron. Who is Seth Barron? I could imagine that the people who were caught in that bank robbery had accomplices who took their revenge on the Chief. But we have little information to support any theory right now. Perhaps we should move on the the Chief's office?
Peanuts Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I highly doubt anyone would waste our chief because of some minor offenses. Officer Scott's idea of an accomplice killing the chief for his fellows sounds far more plausible, but further than that, I have no real idea. Although I'd really like to know who thsi Seth Barron is. And I think the chief's office sounds fine.

I'm not sure it has any bearing on the crime we're investigating, but it doesn't hurt to be thorough. I would like to ask Officer Hutch if the files include details about the nature of the offences committed by the three named above. If this information can't be revealed to people outside the police forces, can I have a look at the files myself?

"He's a bully that graduated last year and went off to college." I could imagine that the people who were caught in that bank robbery had accomplices who took their revenge on the Chief. But we have little information to support any theory right now. Perhaps we should move on the the Chief's office? Deputy Scott enters the Chief's Office. There's a desk, an empty fish tank, a small mini-refrigerator, and two filing cabinets. I wonder what kind of offences Jeremy, James and that Seth Barron were found guilty of. Since you are a police officer, you can have a look at the records if you wish.
Peanuts Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I'd like to know what is on and inside the desk. So, Seth won't have killed the chief, if he doesn't even live in the town anymore. And a career from a bully to a killer in that time frame wouldn't amke any sence anyway.
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 What couple of records? I only remember one thing. And it was not exactly recent.
Brickdoctor Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I'd like to know where Seth went to college, and I'd like to try to look inside the cabinets.
Jedi master Brick Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 My dad has done a crime, and hes not proud of me . I would like to know when my dad did the crimes and what were they
CMP Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Ah, the captain's log. I'd also like to know the offenses, as well as the stardate on them.
Professor Flitwick Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Deputy Scott enters the Chief's Office. There's a desk, an empty fish tank, a small mini-refrigerator, and two filing cabinets. I'd like to try and read through the files, and check in and under the empty fish tank. "Anybody here remember why the Chief kept an empty fist tank?"
CMP Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Whoops, I also want to check the fridge. Probably full of liquor.

And a career from a bully to a killer in that time frame wouldn't amke any sence anyway. On the desk are a few pictures, the most notable are one of the Chief and the Mayor, one of the Chief and his wife, and one of the Chief in his old uniform. Also on the desk is a computer, a coffee mug, and a bowl of candy. There are office supplies, such as pens and paper inside his desk. I'd like to know where Seth went to college, and I'd like to try to look inside the cabinets. He went to Dartmouth. Inside the cabinets are files on all police officers. In the other is a locked briefcase. My dad has done a crime, and hes not proud of me . I would like to know when my dad did the crimes and what were they ] Ah, the captain's log. I'd also like to know the offenses, as well as the stardate on them. Ask Officer Hutch or Deputy Chief Scott. I'd like to try and read through the files, and check in and under the empty fish tank. "Anybody here remember why the Chief kept an empty fist tank?" There's nothing in or under the fish tank. Whoops, I also want to check the fridge. Probably full of liquor. The fridge contains a few microwavable meals, which is odd because there isn't a microwave present.
CMP Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 GAH-HA! TV DINNERS! IT ALL FITS. There's TV Dinners and...and there's no...microwave... Uhh. Microwave thief?
Brickdoctor Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I'd like to try to access the computer. (it'll probably require a password, but it's worth a try) I'd also like to read all the files. And I'd like to know if we can call the college and ask them questions about Seth.
CMP Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I'd like to search from open power outlets, or perhaps even a dust spot where a microwave could've been recently. I know this is weird, but God did say it was 'odd', so I'm sticking with it.
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I've tried as hard as I can and can only recall one incident in which I would have gotten a record. A long while back, I punched the Chief in the face. I was perfectly justified but it wasn't my proudest moment. It was so long ago I didn't think it was worth mentioning. But there certainly can't be anything else in there about me. I'm a model citizen.

And I'd like to know if we can call the college and ask them questions about Seth. There is indeed a password. There is also a sheet of paper stuck to the computer that reads: "Password Reminder: When one enters a cold dark room with one match, what is the first thing they must light? A candle, an oil lamp, or an oil heater?" You may only enter an answer once, so choose wisely. There are three files, all are classified. "Stop focusing on Seth Barron!" a voice booms from above. I'd like to search from open power outlets, or perhaps even a dust spot where a microwave could've been recently. I know this is weird, but God did say it was 'odd', so I'm sticking with it. There is a dust spot and an open socket.
