"I must be going now. Hopefully, we'll see more of your kind here. Mopag could use some heroes."

Arthur moves off down the road in the direction of the Hapless Hoplite, so we move on to the Meeting House.

The Meeting House is an imposing structure composed primarily of stone. It has no windows, and only one door can be seen. It's built like a fortress, and a guard blocks the doorway.

"Halt! I am Commander Charles Pinnock, Squad 3, Mopag Guard. What is your business here?"

"Greetings, Commander Pinnock. My companions and I were wondering if you or any of your people knew of the Lion Knights or their whereabouts."

"Lion Knights. I commend their efforts to establish a foothold on Uland. I would've raided caravans myself, if I was trying to expand my territory into that of another faction. If you ask me, the Shadeaux simply don't train their guards well enough."

"Count, er, Commander Pinnock, do you have any recommendations of places to go where we could find someone with more knowledge about this touchy subject?"

Benji paused for a second.

"And what do you know about those suspicious Brobrick elves? Snobs, if you ask me. They're probably on the side of the Lion Knights. Hmph."

"There is no one inside, and even if there was, you would not be allowed to enter. Mopag rules.

"I don't know much, and neither does anyone else in the Guards. We don't exactly get a lot of news out here.

"Don't know much about the Brobric Elves, either. They don't want you in their territory and they don't leave it too often. They detest newcomers, that I know."

De'kra nods and clicks, "Lion Knights expand territory? Next where they first territory?" As he waits De'kra turns to their Shadaeux contact and asks, "Where Uland, it not on map."

OOC: he is asking that if the Lion Knights are expanding, where do they originate from.

"I know not where the Lion Knights come from. Certainly not from the Free Islands."

QM Note:

If you look at the Library topic, Uland is the island Eubric is on.

De'kra nodded and asked the Shadaeux representative, "How guards beaten anyway? It ambush? Or details you not know? Or details you not allow tell I? Details on attack know, might clue to Lion Knight patterns."

Last on the list of locations we decide to visit is the Mopag housing area. A good number of the dwellings are arranged in neat rows.

The houses are built from wattle and daub. They're two stories high with one small window visible in the upper floor above the door, which is solidly built from wood. The structure is quite sturdy, though it wouldn't last very long against a determined assault. Clearly, the Mopags like their privacy.

We try all the houses, but either everyone is out working and performing other duties and activities or doesn't want to talk to strangers.

"Well then, I suspect it wouldn't exactly be a good thing if we forced our way into the dwellings, so we should probably move on. Where do you wish to go next?"

"That was disappointing. I think we should not wear out our welcome. We did get a clue to work towards, two clues really if you consider the idea that the Brobric Elves might be in on this. We should head on down to R'Kilf"

De'kra nodded, since it was the newest clue they had. "Not make sense elves help Lion Knights," he clicked, "If elves no like newcomers, why help invaders? Only way it make sense to me; six houses have upset Brobric, and Lion knights promise to leave elves alone. You thoughts?"

Right then, off to R'kilf it is! I've heard the town has many picturesque vistas, supposed to be a lovely place. Let's hope we make it there in one piece, heh!

We bid farewell to the strange settlement of Mopag and set out for R'Kilf. Night here isn't nearly as forbidding as in the Mopag Forest.

The Night is fairly uneventful. We sleep well enough to regain Health, thus Xander returns to full Health. Nothing else of note happens.
