De'kra watches as the foes collapse, filled with relief that he not only had survived the fight, but had managed to help. As the shade stood victorious his body began to churn and bubble, mostly obscured by his clothes. The Shade's eyes beamed, glad that he can now relax. The shade turned to the group and clicked, "Heroes and I best continue on, but not forget it. Heroes and I have to keep elf safe in order to enter Brobric, might heroes and I enter side quest he might enter knock out. But when heroes and I finished in Brobric, which shouldrememberthis knowledge.

"I'm all for keeping on our current quest. This mystery can wait, and perhaps the note about going to this shed is a trap for us. After all, whoever posted such a large bounty would probably know that we would easily take out at least one group of hunters. Perhaps not a trap to kill us, but to delay us from reaching our destination."

"There is, unfortunately, no way of knowing, right now. You could always take the chance that Lord Keveak would allow it and go there now, but taking into account the fact that the bounty appears to concern neither the Brobric Elves nor the Shadeaux, if he finds out and disagrees with that course of action, he could have you punished for violating the terms of the charter and permit. Your best bet is to continue to Brobric and wait for Keveak there. He was planning to travel to Bric'Lin and then to Brobric after leaving R'Kilf, but since he's on horseback, he should arrive no more than a day later than us in Brobric."

"Good point. Let's continue on to Brobric."

As they readied to move on, De'kra began to make violent tremors in his body. A shrieking sound can be heard from within him, as the shade begins reaches into a gap in his clothes. With a great ripping sound De'kra scraps something off of his chest, which falls to the ground. Slowly the tiny chunk condenses into a small slug like creature, which squirms into the shade's pocket.

OOC: and thus De'kra got a "pet"

"Oh yes! I completely forgot about those! Thank you, Benji."

"I will give 1 gold to De'kra and Venom to Benji. As for the parchment, I'll hold on to it for now."

De'kra dipped his head in thanks to Tomas, and pocketed the coin. "What you think Lion Knight like? What need heroes and I prepare for when heroes and I meet knights?"

QM Note:

Sorry for the wait. Been busy all day. The Quest should continue soon, but it depends on how fast I can get the pictures sorted out. (because with this random Nights thing, I had already taken a few pics for each scenario, but I need to make a new one for this next Night)

If the others find it odd that the shade spawned a slug, De'kra didn't notice. He was just glad that he now had a defense against amnesia the next time he died, which with his record was a distinct possibility.

*huh*Benji pretends to not notice De'kra's new pet.

And he tries not to get too sick

"Nice uh, pet, De'kra..."

De'kra nods at the ranger, totally missing his disgust. "I think of something," the shade clicked, "Many elves in R'kilf; city worth. Maybe Brobric overrun by the Lion Knights, or it least damaged from Lion Knights. Most elves fled from Brobric to R'kilf to regroup, while only few remain to protect old home. That why elves fight Lion Knights, elf home decimated by knights. What other heroes think? Elf guide no have to comment might he no want to."

"No, not at all.

"While we're on the road, I'll give you a little information on Brobric.

"Brobric was originally and still primarily is a human village. The Brobric Elves live in the Eubric Forest nearby, and normally rarely venture into Brobric itself. We only own one building in Brobric, and there's no non-elf on Uland who has ever seen our primary dwellings. With the growing, unprecedented threat of a foreign power with a professional army, Lord Ricroar organized our warriors as never before and placed Lord Keveak in charge of operations outside of Brobric. Lord Ricroar himself had elves virtually take over Brobric, much as Lord Keveak took control of R'Kilf. The villagers remain mostly grateful for the protection. With the Mopags remaining secluded and the six houses vying for more power in Eubric, the elves thus far have met with little resistance taking over R'Kilf and Brobric.

"When we reach Brobric, you'll be first meeting with Lord Normorn, who will tell you what we know of the Lion Knights' whereabouts."

With anticipation of knowing the location of the Lion Knights tomorrow, we catch a bit of sleep in the middle of the Brobric Forest.

We got an early morning's start on our final day of this journey. Brobric Village was just one hill away.

"That's far enough."

A female elven archer stepped out of the forest.

"What is your business in Brobric?"

"And what proof have you of that?

"Seaian! What are you doing with this lot?"

"Well, we have a permit signed by Lord Keveak allowing us to continue working for our previous employer. I don't know if that counts as proof that we're going to see Lord Normorn, but it certainly proves that we're currently working for Lord Keveak."

"Seaian is our guide to Brobric."

Seaian shows the permit and charter to the female elf.

"Ah, I see. Move along, then."

"Lords Normorn and Ricroar should be in Brobric around midday to check on the warriors in the village. That gives you enough time to visit one of the public buildings. Brobric is a popular destination for those who like outdoor recreation. There's the Questing Outfitter's Shop, the Paramount Potions Shop, the Brobric Inn, and the White Bear Tavern."

De'kra bows to the elf archer, and waits to see were Tomas heads off to. The shade wonders briefly if the Lion Knights are real, or if the elves are using rumors and tricks to expand their territory. They now control two villages, not counting their native lands, and with both the Mopags and the houses distracted, they might be making a bid for power. De'kra eventualy rejects this idea, as the elves won't let a group sent by a house anywhere near them if this was true. If the heroes learned the truth, the houses might react. He never says any of this outloud, since elves are all around him.

"The Questing Outfitter's Shop might be a good place to go first. What does everyone else think?"
