Tamamono Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Order of action: Leo Xander Thormanil Cinna Ad-Hoh Benji De'kra Tomas "Ad-Hoh, Cinna; please use your darkness magic on the Quartermaster. The bound effect only works on close-ranged weapons." "Truth be told, I'm actually kind of scared of what this brew will do to me, so instead I'll attack Lion Captain from the front row!"
ADHO15 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 "I shall attack the Lion Quartermaster from the back row with Darkness."
Darkdragon Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Cinna attacks Quartermaster with Darkness.
posades Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Should I focus on trying to deal a final blow to the Lion Captain, or attack an enemy that has not been targeted yet?
Tamamono Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Should I focus on trying to deal a final blow to the Lion Captain, or attack an enemy that has not been targeted yet? "I think it would best if you attacked one of the other enemies. It's your call, though."
swils Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I'll attack that second footsoldier (Lion Footsoldier B) from the front row, then.
posades Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 "I think it would best if you attacked one of the other enemies. It's your call, though." That sounds like a good plan. I will attack Lion Footsoldier A from the front row. OOC: If we kill the Lion Captain during the second round, will the two extra soldiers still show up?
Tanma Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 IC: De'kra grips his sword, knowing that soon the team would be swarming with enemies. The shade decides to attack the Lion Footsoldier A from the front row, to stop them from calling reinforcements.
Brickdoctor Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 OOC: If we kill the Lion Captain during the second round, will the two extra soldiers still show up? QM Note:Once any reinforcements are called, they will arrive whether or not the summoner is killed. The only way to avoid them is to end the battle before they arrive.
Flare Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Benji attacks the Lion Crossbowman from the back row. "Seriously man, you should've let me make up the story... ask anyone, they know I'm good at it." *faint snicker from lion fella* "You know what, I'm going to kill you for that!"
TheBoyWonder Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I attack Lion Footsoldier C from the front row.
ADHO15 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I attack Lion Footsoldier C from the front row. "Footsoldier C?"
Brickdoctor Posted November 11, 2011 Author Posted November 11, 2011 "Footsoldier C?" QM Note:I'm going to have him target Footsoldier B, as it has fewer heroes targeting it. Sir Leo, you can't really decide who to attack, and when you finally bring your sword down towards Lion Footsoldier B, he's already dodged and counterattacked for 2 Damage. Luckily for you, your shield absorbs all of the attack. Xander, you smash down your hammer once again, killing Lion Footsoldier A in one 22 Damage Extra Critical Hit, but your fellow Barbarian, Thormanil, isn't so lucky, taking 2 Damage from Lion Footsoldier B. Cinna, you calmly score a Hit for 28 Darkness Elemental Damage to eliminate the Quartermaster, but in attempting to switch your target to the Lion Captain, Ad-Hoh, you take Special Damage, and the Captain Calls the Guards. Benji, you're faster than the Lion Crossbowman to fire off an arrow, and it pays off as you land a Hit for 14 Damage. De'kra, you follow Benji's example with a 13 Damage Hit to take out Lion Footsoldier B, but Tomas, you aren't fast enough with the staff to prevent the Lion Captain from Calling more Guards. Two enemies remain, and the battle continues. Four Lion Footsoldiers will arrive at the end of the next Round. ADHO15 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Ad-Hoh melee attacks the Lion Crossbowman from the back row.
Tanma Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 IC: De'kra stares in shock, as his blade drips sweet blood onto the ground. He had not only managed to harm a foe, but he defeated his opponent all by himself. The defeat of Lion Footsoldier B was entirely his doing, and in one attack. Gradually the shade recalls that he is in the middle of a battle, and gets ready for a follow up attack. "I attack Captain of Front Row," declared De'kra, still in shock.
TheBoyWonder Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Well done Dekra! I attack Lion Captain from the front Row!

Brickdoctor Posted November 11, 2011 Author Posted November 11, 2011 "Nine!? Something tells me that this won't end well..." "There are nine guards chasing us because, so far, nine guards have been summoned during battles." "Anyways, let's try Tent C next." Tent C smells strongly of sweat and has about a dozen dirty bedrolls on its floor. Evidently, it's one of the barracks tents, but all the guards are either dead, chasing you, or assisting the knight who is inspecting the fields.
