ChicoGoya Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 My mom recently started cleaning out old storage in our basement and found some of my old clothes from when i was about 8 years old packed away. I found and this is no joke, 27 legos including 3 minifigs and 24 blocks of different ilks. I used to shove a lot of my toys in my pockets specially minifigs to have through out my day. on a side note my dog once ate a bag of like 100 gold lego coins and his poop was gold dotted for a couple days. I did not retrieve them. But it's GOLD!! I can only imagine...that's gross! My brother gave me a Chewbacca minifig with crossbow that he found in a diner parking lot. I think I'm in possession of some poor kid's childhood memory! AWESOME!! Quote

Brickus Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Heaps of CMF series 4, in a cinema, they had a promotion going, and I found heaps of bits and pieces. Quote

The Yellow Brick Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I've once found a minifigure body in the bottom of our fireplace coverd with dust and ash... Not sure how it got there but it was slightly melted Another place I found some Lego was under the carpet. It had probally been there years! Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I found a £5 Note, and the City Police minifigure today. Down the street from a Toy store. Needless to say, I went in to see what Lego I could get! I went in the toy shop, and found a Scarab Attack and an Alien Striker on sale as some little kid had apparently 'threw them down the aisle at his parents as they would only buy him a Series 4 Minifigure. Boxes were battered, but the boxes fine Both of them for £5! Quote
meyerc13 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 We just bought a new couch and love seat, so I had to dig under the cushions before letting the old ones out of the house. Among the LEGO I found (in or under the couch): Trans Clear and Red Cheese slopes Trans Clear Goblet A trans clear facted dome piece that I only remember buying in an Atlantis set, but didn't know was missing A red 1x1 brick a Green slope a Sausage piece The Collectible Minifig Elf's shield (so that's where it went!) various 1x1 round plates A few small Technic pieces Overall, mostly the parts LEGO always gives extras of (and now I think I know why), along with a few pieces I didn't realize were missing (darn kids). Kudos to the couch manufacturer (sadly now out of business, since it was a nice sturdy couch that lasted a long time) for designing the couch to catch LEGO so well (along with lots of crumbs and other assorted bits - both edible and not (aside - how my kids manage to lose almost a whole bowl of cheese nips I can't understand... probably involved them wandering off and a dog trying to steal from the bowl)). DaleDVM Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 This is a crazy coincidence. On my way home from my very 1st LEGO convention (Brickworld 2007) I stopped to fuel up the car and on the ground were a few scratched up LEGO pieces. If the gas station was near the convention I could see it, but it was a couple of blocks from my house. Quote
