I figured my Emerald Night needed a place to fill up after long runs, so I built her this Water Tower. I would have liked to build an elaborate, slat-sided tank similar to a couple of ones I had already seen in other posts, but lack of parts and novice builder skills led me to this design. So, hopefully it will get re-MOC'd in the future. As always, comments and criticisms are welcomed.

Very nice tower and scene. A great trackside accessory.

Wonderful Water Tower!

It would be fantastic have this MOC in my layout!

Clever technique and great skill!

Nice work, stacker.

I need one of these for my locos.

Great job! My son love it so much that he asked me to 'try' make one for his Duplo Thomas trains. ;-)

Nice. This looks like it would make a great official LEGO set. If only LEGO would come out with more train accessory sets.

May you share the instructions?

Thank you all for the encourageing comments, I am thrilled to hear it is liked so well!

As for instructions I don't know where or how to create them.(the only program I am somewhat familiar with is LEGO's Digital Designer.) And,the design has a half a stud cheat to give the support legs a slight tilt, which,I haven't found to be possible in a LDD design.

But if there is interest,I could do some disassembled photos. So if I done those photos, do I post them to this thread, or should I just PM to those who are interested?

Thanks again!

It would be great!

I wonder how you have build the wood pillars of this beautiful tower!

I absolutely need a similar set in my layout to recharge my steam locomotives!
