June 20, 20195 yr Author After the convention it was clear that there is a need for more lighting. Here is the first sketch of blingbling

June 20, 20195 yr Author i know. Still searching for a proper solution. edit: Seems i found a solution which works in real but not in ldd. Edited June 20, 20195 yr by efferman
June 20, 20195 yr This truck is awesome! Did you try the "jaaptechnic style" rims? I think they look much more better on 1:17 trucks.
June 20, 20195 yr Author Thanks I dont like the shape of the jaap fenders and iam more flexible with the hinge rims in aspect of colours. Edited June 21, 20195 yr by efferman
June 21, 20195 yr Author Thanks Fixing the LXF is nearly done. Now i have a trailer coupling at the back and a question: Including an removable Deadweight platform? Scania 10x4 6 SLT by Michael Wirth, auf Flickr
June 21, 20195 yr From this view it looks very nice indeed About removable dead weight platform, I have one question about it (and the answer inclooded between lines): did it aid Ballance (better weight distribution) or vice versa?
June 21, 20195 yr Author Traction needs weight at the back and without a semitrailer there is a need for dead weight when you want pull a trailer.

June 21, 20195 yr A ballast carrier for a truck like this is a good idea. Virtually every heavy haulage truck I have seen has a ballast box, or at least an option for one. Are you going to add a tarp roof and other details to the box?
June 22, 20195 yr Author Only a naked Platform i think, but iam floating actually between tiltable and solid sidewalls. with a acceptable opening angle a sidewall would be only mounted at two studs. Is the opening feature a reason enough to accept a non solid solution? June 26, 20195 yr I following this for a while and must say it's a cool truck. It's also a great combination of those 'new' technic beams and stuff and the 'old' Lego. quess I don't express it really good ? but ... looks great. the Platform looks great too. Looking forward to the rest. Maybe an option to fill the ballastcarrier with some stuff like spare tyres and stuff?
