Chipstertrain Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Just had a quick measure in my cab with my arms and I think the seats are in perfect proportions, OK, mine is a DAF and not an MAN, but they will all be very similar I think. Anyway it looks superb inside and out. Quote
efferman Posted November 10, 2018 Author Posted November 10, 2018 Thanks for checking the dimensions Quote
efferman Posted November 11, 2018 Author Posted November 11, 2018 Next weekend is in munich a very large lego convention with lots of Lego mocs in monorail, GBC, Trains and Dioramas. Oh, dont forget the action area with more or less 100 Technic RC Mocs Bricking Bavaria 2018 at spielwiesn 2018 Quote
efferman Posted November 12, 2018 Author Posted November 12, 2018 Ready for convention, even when some colours are not correct Quote
BrickbyBrickTechnic Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Looks amazing Efferman! Will there be a video? Quote
efferman Posted November 12, 2018 Author Posted November 12, 2018 Maybe tomorrow, maybe monday. The R926 has his Sbricks back The Rotation Mechanism has now a small reinforcement, but unfortunately i should have replaced the turntable too. Now the rotation Motor is nearly stalling before a gear is jumping. Quote
AFOLegofan66 Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Looks fantastic really well done!! Quote
efferman Posted November 14, 2018 Author Posted November 14, 2018 a small reminder for the convention this weekend. @2LegoOrNot2Lego... will be there too. Quote

MangaNOID Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Some great looking builds there. That pair of old school tractors look awesome. Looks like a few bits of custom panel work? Very nicely done. thanks for showing the pics. Quote
efferman Posted November 19, 2018 Author Posted November 19, 2018 Yes, its my printed Panel corner Quote
1gor Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I thought that you do not like tractors I suppose red Zetros is by @jrx So far I did notice Ingmar's trucks... Quote
1gor Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I think orange U.S. truck (probably Mack) with Xerion on trailer could be Ingmar's Quote

blondasek Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 efferman.. that is beautiful. I really like to look at your models, they are perfect (I used that mechanism of yours for the outtriggers hidden in the body). But what took me the most (I am sorry :x) from the pictures of that event, is that the biggest achievement which Lego Official Set can get is to display it with a MOC's where it looks astonishing as them. I am talking about the Claas 42054. One of the best looking and accurate model. Quote
efferman Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 (edited) Yes, the claas is a highlight of the last years Do you think this wheelbase is ok for a standard 6x4 semi tractor unit? edit: above 3.2m below 2.4m. these are the official wheelbases 2.4m looks a little bit silly Edited November 25, 2018 by efferman Quote
1gor Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 Distance from front axle to first rear axle on real truck us 3200mm (here) and with scale you use (1:16.5) distance should be 24-25 studs, but it depends which version you decide to make. I hope that this brochure helps Quote
efferman Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 yes it helps. I choose the 3.2m. the 2.4m version looks much to weird Quote
1gor Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 (edited) Yes, the 2.4 looks good only if you plan to make something like this All my mocs are proportioned as original, so it is not a problem to assist anyone if I can, so you will be always welcome. Edited November 25, 2018 by I_Igor Quote
