fosamax Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Did you tried the MAN configurator or does the render it provides are too small anyway to be used as a decent blueprint ? Anyway here's a link for a 8*8 35T config : https://www.truck.man.eu/konfigurator/fr/fr/#/code/L96SSU31-4300FE-C3709-EQN Quote

What you've configurated is a 35t for construction vehicles like tippers or mixers, you can't compare the wrecker with a standard chassis. There's no wrecker like the other and what you see in the render is a 41t. The problem is that you can only find pictures of the 2021, so it's designed by Efferman under help of a 1:87 model. Quote
grego18f Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Looks really nice Effe, I'd like to have one of these on my shelf! Can't wait to see the result with real bricks Quote
efferman Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 Almost ready for instruction dismantling Quote
1gor Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Looks very impressive, but I'm an old-fashioned, so I prefer to see version build in bricks (& pieces ) Quote
grum64 Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Did somebody say instructions? I’d love to build this. Any idea when they’ll be available? Quote

Then ordering parts, test build, stress tests, finalizing the instruction.... i guess end of january maybe. Quote

McTriple Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I really like this topic. Very impressive builds! Quote
efferman Posted December 18, 2020 Author Posted December 18, 2020 Is this enough as instruction? Spoiler Quote
1gor Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 It is very useful for this beautiful monster. Quote
efferman Posted December 22, 2020 Author Posted December 22, 2020 (edited) someone has asked for this. It is 138,8 Studs long and In real this would be 18,63m. The Trailer is only a quickshot, so the axles are totaly wrong. Edited December 22, 2020 by efferman Quote
efferman Posted January 21, 2021 Author Posted January 21, 2021 It would be nice if stud.io had a native cable solution. Quote
Jundis Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Yep, cable laying really is a pain in the armpit in Stud.io Btw.: From the blueprint it looks like the front axles have very limited ground clearance. Is this all the way accross the axle or just right beside the wheels? Really great model, by the way :-) Quote
efferman Posted January 22, 2021 Author Posted January 22, 2021 Thanks 17 hours ago, Jundis said: Is this all the way accross the axle or just right beside the wheels? it is going straight from hub to hub, but i guess it is still enough ground clearance for road use. Quote
efferman Posted January 26, 2021 Author Posted January 26, 2021 A small play with 22000 parts and a normal render of it. Quote
