efferman Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 thanks, but what do you mean with "have two faces"? happy and sad in one time because you think iam a hard contestant to your own moc? Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 thanks, but what do you mean with "have two faces"? happy and sad in one time because you think iam a hard contestant to your own moc? I mean something like this, but than in a modern style. it's a two headed cabine truck. Quote
efferman Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 very nice idea, good luck with your design Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) very nice idea, good luck with your design Thanks Effe, I hope whe get a lot more good moc's for the contest. for what i have now seen the last day's there only a couple off nice moc's online by the lego site. the most are not based at the 9398 chassis or stolen photo's by us and some other builders. I hope that the best idea wins Edited October 12, 2012 by VFracingteam Quote
efferman Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 me too. to loose against a genius moc is better than against a simple kiddie moc Quote
efferman Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 first time an uncut picture of the back. the backdor is able to open and at the same time the locking mechanism for tilting the body teaser4 von efferman auf Flickr Quote

Saberwing40k Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Are we looking at a hearse, or something? Anyway, pretty much the only serious MOCer's in the competition are you, me , Hrontos, and Zblj. Everyone else is either a shameless plagirist, or has a terrible design. (There are exceptions, of course. Sadly, some of the best entries will come near the end, so only the crappy, thrown together ones will have any votes.) Quote
Gene Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Looks like a multi purpose van. I like your fender creation! Quote

Only problem (because of chassis) - high centre of mass. Edited October 14, 2012 by rm8 Quote
efferman Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) yes the high centre of gravity is a problem, but iam working on something more flat. the working title is screamin cobra it is not finished, because iam fighting with the back and the headlights of it. But i think iam on a good way edit: btw what do you think about this colour for it? source Edited November 1, 2012 by efferman Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Best Effe, At the front it's looks like a cobra head. Looking forwart to see the side and rearend en mabey for coloring the hole thing in dark grey, black and some green. Greets Edwin Quote
DLuders Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 @ efferman: I like the looks, but if you want to make it more "reptilian", you could consider using some 47757pb03 "Wedge 4x4 Pyramid Center with Green Scale Pattern" to overlap as some snake-like "scales". The bright colors of the chassis may be able to be masked a bit.... Quote
efferman Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 Dluders, i dont think that the design will benefit from this part and i dont want make a order of parts. when this snake will win, tlg could make stickers and better colours to make it more reptile edwin, here are some pictures in a more advanced building process i think only the lights are left to my attention Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Very well done. I really like the "less is more" approach! Quote
timslegos Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I do like the orange and black, maybe you could try a new color scheme though? tim Quote
efferman Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 thanks guys i dont think, that i will try a different colour sheme, because the parts dont exist in the colours i want i think the front view is finished. i have used my ansmanns to prevent plagiarism and a skyview Quote
DLuders Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 (edited) That wicked-looking "screamin cobra" MOC will get a lot of votes! Perhaps it should be renamed (since cobras don't appear in those varied colors, only Orange).... Edited November 2, 2012 by DLuders Quote
efferman Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 an orange cobra is existing? cool, when all parts would be available in orange, this would be sure an very good option. maybe i call em simply "Rock snake" Quote
