zux Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Head lamps for 2nd bonnet give a better view for me and a grill is somewhat in scale. Quote
Junpei Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Definitely the first bonnet. Totally off topic, what 3rd party tyres did you use for your big red crawler? Quote

efferman Posted December 30, 2013 Author Posted December 30, 2013 because my changes at the 42024 are going to be a moc, i will post the progress here Quote
skppo Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 What kind of functions will it have? Obiviously all that the original has, but anything else? I like the use of the tread links. If only they had a smoother desing. How do you like the new wheels? Useful or not? Quote
efferman Posted December 30, 2013 Author Posted December 30, 2013 it wil lhave the same functions, only fully remote controlled. The new tires are gorgeous and perfect for 15-16 wide trucks. and they are narrow enough to get a proper dual tire setup in this scale. Quote
timslegos Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I didnt realize that there was new tires, they do look great! tim Quote

efferman Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 some progress: the front axle has a ackermann geometry with using the new suspension parts And a small question: is the wheelbase to short? Quote
Technyk32231 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I think the wheelbase is fine. It will probably look better though if you fill in the space between the cab and the rear axles. Right now, that space looks really empty. Quote
Polo-Freak Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 In this Space Comes the Engine for the Lifters, Right? Quote
