gmshades Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 That's the way Lego should have made it. Looks great efferman! I may have to change mine as well when I get it. Quote
efferman Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 my minifig D11 has no special parts which are including only in 42028, so there is no need to buy it. Quote

MajklSpajkl Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Looks very promising! Do you have any photos with the tires mounted on those turntable wheels? How good is the grip between tires and the turntables? Do you need any additional fixing for it? Quote
efferman Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 sure the grip between tires and turntables is very high. look at this vid Quote
__________________________ Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 thanks for all of your praise. i hope you like the following Video too Could you please make a motorized 42008? Please? or at least offer advice on how to do it? Quote
efferman Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 doesnt have the ugly 42008 tow truck an M motor included. or do you think about an rc version? the front part of the frame is done Quote
efferman Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 the backend is done too, who can find the error? no, not the chaos on the table Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Sorry, but you'l have to enlighten us on the error, well me at least :) Only now I've spotted the clutch gears next to the diffs - I guess this is your limited slip diff. solution - well how good does it work? I feel that it would work good for lighter models, but for this giant of yours I am not sure. Or is the torque that the clutch gear can handle so much higher than the one needed to move the truck futher on when stuck due to differentials? I guess I should try it to understand it - can you post just the gears "x-ray" if you made one? Quote
efferman Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) a error hint: 8 pieces, but one is wrong the gear x-ray the limited slip diff works surprisingly well, look simply at the driving test which i have posted in post # 1467 I think this is a result of the combination with my planetary rims. Black-Build Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 You've got a different front wheel, is that the error? Quote
efferman Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 these is the rear axle, but yes, it is a different tire. i dont have found my eight ansmann Quote
Black-Build Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 ah... I wasn't paying attention to front or rear axles... Quote
