HorcikDesigns Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 The 12t transmitting the power of two XLs (I have spotted that Xls in front axles are in opposite direction than in the rear) should have been in opposire position in their "cage" (only for one from front or rear)? So the result is that the front wheels rotate in opposite direction than the rear. (?) Is this The Error? Quote
efferman Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 the 12 tooth bevel gears have, like in 9398, to be all on drivers or on co-drivers side. this is in the model done. the error is a wrong tire on the last axle. new pictures with a part of the cab Quote
Black-Build Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Can't wait to see it finished, I am waiting for this one a long time now! really? ok, then i should switch the battery boxes directly. the cab should big enough for this and maybe i build this and then it should have really enough space and weight picture source Now will you make this version? MajklSpajkl Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 a error hint: 8 pieces, but one is wrong the gear x-ray ... the limited slip diff works surprisingly well, look simply at the driving test which i have posted in post # 1467 I think this is a result of the combination with my planetary rims. Very good idea!!! I sure will try it in my future builds - how damaging do you think it is to clutch gear's torque resistance? Quote
efferman Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 yes black build, but in different colours. MajklSpajkl, good question, but unfortunately i dont have made long time studys about this some progress on the cab Quote
Balrog Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I like it so far. The only thing that seems a bit off is the roof railing. I think it should be only 2 studs high instead of 3, so there is only a 1 stud gap between roof and rail. But that's just my opinion. Quote
efferman Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 Yes it looks a bit high. we will see how it fits to the finished vehicle a picture of the power supply and the turntable Quote
Rishab N Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I dont even have 1 rechargable battery and you have a solid 3 Quote
efferman Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 i dont like buying AA batterys btw, the final craneboom concept Quote
efferman Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 indeed, but how would it look with lego Actuators? btw some lifting and pulling with this 5kg of technic Quote
Lucio Switch Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 indeed, but how would it look with lego Actuators? btw some lifting and pulling with this 5kg of technic The actuator seems to work very well and the turntable appears to be much stiffer than the original !! Great job !!! Quote
rm8 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 (edited) indeed, but how would it look with lego Actuators? btw some lifting and pulling with this 5kg of technic So many warnings at this video:) Next you should do a "18+" sign in the beginning!:) ACHTUNG: gefährliche Video! Edited October 3, 2014 by rm8 Quote
efferman Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 Yes, the actuator works fine. unfortunately i have to replace the turntable. It is my very first printed part and has to much play in the vertical axis and the driving gear is jumping under high load. Quote
PhyBuilder Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I won't ever buy such an actuator just because of the cost, but this video shows it's capabilities: wow! It's impressive to have 4 of those damped springs compress like this... Quote
TheItalianBrick Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Efferman I do love all i've seen although I'm not fan of "non lego parts"! Can I give you a little advice? Move the "shock absorber" 1 or 2 studds outer.... But cool truck and crane! hope to see it finished soon!!!   Quote
timslegos Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 The crane arm looks super strong, cant wait to see the final product! tim Quote

Mikuri Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 That crane was craving for some stability xD! I'm waiting to see how it will handle the load now :D! Quote
efferman Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Can they lift the truck? They look robust enough. look yourself Quote
