Sylvian Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Damn Afroman,.. that looks the shiznat!! Quote
Dafgek81 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 That looks really cool. Love to build a crane like that. By the way, is there a lxf file for the complete Iveco chassis?? Quote
efferman Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 here is the latest file http://www.doktor-brick.de/index.php/Attachment/10066-lucio-chassis-lxf/ Quote
Dafgek81 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Thanks. Really like the crane, are you going to put the extendable printed part on there? Like that part for what I seen from it. Are you going to make a pneumatic version from it M, without the gear holding part on it? Quote
efferman Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 the telescopic parts are since tuesday 00.03am in the local postal delivery center and no try to deliver it to me. Gear holding part? Quote
Dafgek81 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 On the back side there is some kind of triangular shaped bracket like part. I think it's for a gear to drive a wormgear or so to extend the inner parts mechanically. Quote
efferman Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 No, there is nothing intended to be moved by mechanics. Quote
Dafgek81 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Well in the first pictures on Flickr, the backside is open. On the later version, there is an additional part added. What is that for??? Quote
efferman Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 It is for mounting the jib with the mainboom. When the telescopic parts have arrived me. You will see it. Quote
aminnich Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Well done sir! You have done it again! Cant wait to see it on a MOC of yours Quote
MarcoUbtz Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 WOW! Really nice work on the crane's parts Quote
Dafgek81 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Looks incredible!!! Would like to use it on my crane on the Actros. Quote
Cumulonimbus Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Nice work, you make it harder and harder to remain a Lego purist . I thought I would be opposed to the very specific and non-TLG structural parts, but that crane really looks good. Are you planning to combine all your custom parts and improvements into a complete redesigned 42043? I would love to see that. Quote
zweihander Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Looks so clean, tidy and beautiful, kudos efferman! Quote
AFOLegofan66 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 really like this design...I think I will use this for one of my MOC"s...thanks! Quote

marceriusLV Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Epic! I have built your brick built version, works good but I had problems to route all pneumatic tubes. This design is so clean and good looking! Great work Quote
Sylvian Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Jeesh Efferman,.. thats how its supposed to be... i bet alot of us have dreamed about a crane that looks & works like that,.. i want it! Thats for sure,..buti reckon it will be pretty expensive though. Quote
MaxSupercars Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Effe, that's great! I like the telescopic section a lot! Do you plan longer version? Max Quote
efferman Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 (edited) Sylvain, yes, the printed parts in the video costs roundabout 105 euro, but ok, the pneumatic parts makes two arocs necessary. Max, could you specify longer? Edited February 28, 2016 by efferman Quote
