JJ2 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Station Wagon, Crew Cab Pickup, Two seater with long flatbed or a convertible Pickup? Please don't make it convertible! I live in Texas and I see at least 100 pickups a day while driving around and I have never seen one a convertible. Quote

JJ2 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Are those exhaust pipes? anyway I think the front looks great I like how you used micro panels for the grill. Quote
Victor Imaginator Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I used same panels in almost same configuration for same puprose about month ago) Impressive frame, i like how it looks. Quote
efferman Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 i think you are calling "exhaust pip" for the frontbumper Quote
JJ2 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 i think you are calling "exhaust pip" for the frontbumper No the large black pillars on the back Quote
JJ2 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 This is the base of the rollcage Ok I that was my next guess, but I am used to seeing ridiculous exhaust pipes like that on trucks near me. Quote
Rishab N Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Your original G was one of the first MOCs I saw when I joined the Lego community, and it amazed me. Nice to see that you are redoing it. I like how you used the micro panels in the grille Quote
TheItalianBrick Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Great to see Effe you're working on such a beauty!! The chassis it's simply a piece of art! You know what? you should paint the rims in white!!! Quote
efferman Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Hm, i will decide this when the G is done Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Love the surfboard dude...!!! Quote
efferman Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 I have some progress in real unfortunately my third party tires are collide at full steering angle when the suspension is compressed. Now i have two possibilitys: stretch the chassis on two studs or change the lower panel row to liftarms and make it shorter..... Quote
Kman860 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Looks great, I would say probably change to liftarms. Quote
syclone Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Looks great, but aren't you missing side mirrors on it? Quote
Sylvian Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Why not make custom portals so the pivot point is closer to the wheel? Quote
efferman Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) I have changed the chassis length and added a mirror Sylvain, i have custom portal hubs, but this time i want it 100 % pure, except the tires. edit Edited April 3, 2016 by efferman Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I like the way you have improved your G chassis . The first edition of the G chassis where already good and worked prefect, but it's looks now also great. The grill and hood are spot on Quote
Siegfried Meyer Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Hi Effeman don't you think that the indicator lights are 1 brick to long other than that it looks great this far Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 So cool!!! In real life it even looks much better!!! Quote
efferman Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Siegfried, maybe you are right btw, a small update Quote
efferman Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 (edited) and a new one edit Edited April 9, 2016 by efferman Quote
Siegfried Meyer Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Hi Effeman The rear bumper doesn't do it for me for some reason it looks like it should be for a different vehicle, or maybe just a 90 deg angle on the sides 2 studs long Nice progress thou Quote
efferman Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 thanks for the suggestion but first a short test Quote
