Beck Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 @efferman I really really like your design, but I'm not quite sure that those technic panels will look good with a brick built model, if that's what you're planning. If you do keep the panels, I would put something on the exposed technic hole like a plate 1x1 round, perhaps. I hope you don't forget your TGS project; I'd really like to see how it turns out. Also, would it be possible for you to send me the file for your rear tandem axle that you were going to use on the TGS, as I'd really like to use it on a project I'm working on. Quote
efferman Posted December 14, 2017 Author Posted December 14, 2017 The scania will be a new suction excavator so it will be mostly technic. Small Holes are there no Problem. this one? Quote

grego18f Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 Wow Effe, that front grill looks amazing! To me, your Scania will be the best looking in the technic line-up Have you considered the Streamline series? By doing so you'll need to put a 3*7 panel instead of the 3*5 and "bricks" behind. I am looking forward to seeing the result! Keep it up! Quote

Dafgek81 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Did you look into getting instructions made for your first suction excavator. Have a third of the parts already. Quote
efferman Posted December 16, 2017 Author Posted December 16, 2017 The instruction for the dino is hard work for Custom bricks. Quote
Beck Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 (edited) Damn... that's... masterful! I'm most impressed by the wheel arch. Although I must say it does not look like a technic model in any way. Edited December 16, 2017 by Beck Quote
efferman Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Thanks @Beck Someone suggested a different way to do the mudguard. Wich one would you prefer? Scania Kotflügel links 20171217 by Michael Wirth, auf Flickr Scania Kotflügel rechts 20171217 by Michael Wirth, auf Flickr Quote

agrof Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 I agree, the second one is more coherent. Quote
efferman Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Thanks for sharing your opinion. The other side is switched to the right side variant. Quote
