1gor Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 That is huge number of parts just in Cab... 4000-4500 parts is on flagship level Quote
WvG_853 Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Nice video. Functions and operations are very smooth. Impressive! Good luck at the expos ... Quote
efferman Posted October 18, 2018 Author Posted October 18, 2018 New Picture background, the Photobox is a little bit to small for this moc Quote
John Daniels Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 Looks incredible! I was always curious if a brick built cabin with the rest of the truck Technic would look good. Your wrecker proves that to be very true! I’m hopeful for more photos and a video. Quote
grum64 Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 Love this. It looks great, especially the cab and has great functions that all work well. I think it's your best yet. Quote
efferman Posted October 22, 2018 Author Posted October 22, 2018 Thanks guys Pulling Trucks seems possible, even when it drains the Batteries really fast. Quote
blondasek Posted October 22, 2018 Posted October 22, 2018 Wow. Just wow. Since Lego is going close to 4kg models.. :) Efferman - is it possible that you would show more pictures of the front outriggers? There is a really brilliant technic used here. Quote

But is there any problem since the hauled truck has driving axles connected to motors. I guess if the hauled vehice has a neutral gear it would be much easier to haul. Quote
efferman Posted October 22, 2018 Author Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) Each axle has its own XL motor with no Gearbox in between. Edit: @blondasek tomorrow i will make a few pictures. Edited October 22, 2018 by efferman Quote

Yes, but I am taking about the "broken" truck which you pull...it makes your tow truck harder to pull because of the "dead" motors in the "broken" truck. Quote

zux Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Did you have any problems with those 3D-printed parts used for locking front wheels? They seem to have quite a load. Quote
blondasek Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 @efferman thank you very much. Indeed, brilliant mechanism (and works perfect). Have a nice day! Quote

efferman Posted October 28, 2018 Author Posted October 28, 2018 A short video of the convention last weekend. Any interrests to see a progress in this? Quote
Milan Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Beautiful cab. And the whole truck, of course. T cab is also great so far. Quote
1gor Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 It looks like Scania T series cab (long nose or bannered cab...) Perhaps this way you'll get even better weight distribution Quote
Lox Lego Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Looks amazing Efferman! Very complex outriggers for sure. So many creative solutions - well done! Quote
efferman Posted October 28, 2018 Author Posted October 28, 2018 Thanks guys Yes, a Scania torpedo, Quote
efferman Posted October 30, 2018 Author Posted October 30, 2018 Something different not longer paused Quote
1gor Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 (edited) They are really good (since I'm making very similar for my Unimog because I'm trying to save weight where ever I can ...) The only difference is that my will be probably 5 studs wide because I do not know if there is a truck that has bigger diameter steering wheel then seat width. (You understand me). I really envy you how fast you can build both virtual and physical Sorry for late response but I had madhouse at job last few weeks. BTW I really like your video from convention Edited November 1, 2018 by I_Igor Quote
