September 28, 201113 yr This is definatley looking promising, I'll be looking for more updates. Cheers
September 29, 201113 yr It's looking pretty massive, you have to give us one more teaser, we won't wait patiently forever.
October 22, 201113 yr She has a great fantasy galleon feel! The choice of colors is quite clever in my opinion and you did a great job on the stern! Love the medieval shields! Keep up the good work :)

October 22, 201113 yr It has a very original design. I like the custom gunport hatches, the stairs and the colourscheme. Overall it has a very galleon-like feeling, so perhaps a longer headrails part (like this) would look better. But that's just a suggestion. It's a fantasy ship of course. Good luck!
October 22, 201113 yr Author , so perhaps a longer headrails part (like this) would look better. But that's just a suggestion. I tried that, i didn't like it, it just doesn't fit in the whole, imo the ship is to long then.
October 23, 201113 yr I really like it! You did a really good job on the decorations (figureheads and shields).
October 26, 201113 yr Very nice, the rigging is coming along nicely too, what type of ship would you say this is ?
October 28, 201113 yr Your ship is turning out quite original! May I ask why you are putting rigging in front of the cannon ports and windows? It seems they can not be used any more now?
October 28, 201113 yr Author Thx, if you look to real ships you will notice the rigging starts above the first gundeck, since i've got bigger gunports, limited bricks, space etc...the rigging is slightly before the gunports, but they open, at the back it's before the windows, but that doesn't mind.... They are all some beauty flaws, but it looks good IMO and that's what i'm aming at, also i want to make it as realistic as posible.. and in that case some things aren't practical but more beautiful. But thanks for all the comment, it's good to hear i'm on the right track Btw, i'm aming for a galleon typish thingy and the crew will be a surprise (will it be pirates or imperials
October 29, 201113 yr Author The rigging is massive work Respect for the ones who has already made custom rigging. A small update (and a better picture ) Edited October 31, 201113 yr by De Sandman
November 4, 201113 yr Author Question....how wide should the booms be in relation to the with of the ship? thx for reactions
November 5, 201113 yr Author Added the lamps, made new anchors and the rigging on the first masts are done One of 2 anchors; And the lamps; Hope you like it
November 5, 201113 yr You're doing an excellent job on the rigging I'm not sure about the anchor. It's not very smooth. I do like the fact that you're trying to develop your own technique. The lamps are also nice. I think they fit very well on this ship. My only tip is to add a lateen sail to the mizzen mast (like here). It would make the ship more realistic since every galleon had this sail, and it would make the ship more manoeuvrable.
November 5, 201113 yr Author My only tip is to add a lateen sail to the mizzen mast Thanx for the reply...i was very ancsious (how do you write that ) to see the replies...(i'm very proud for myself how this ship is going ) About the lateen...yes it is in the plans to ad one, i just wan't to make the rigging first or it will be in the way when i'm buisy with the strings...
November 6, 201113 yr Author Yes...finished the rigging of the masts, and added a boom for the lateen
