Posted September 28, 201113 yr After a 20+ year absence from Lego I discovered Dan Aubin's genius designs online and gave one a try. Keeping it simple for my first project I followed 99% of his GE C30 design but changed it to an all black Norfolk Southern. I hope he shares more of his brilliant work with us, especially influenced by North American diesels! Cheers!
September 28, 201113 yr That looks amazing. Nice job! I would like to make an attempt at this as well, but I can't get the link to the instructions to work any more. Do you have the file and/or can you send it to me? More importantly, do you have the parts list of what's needed? I am going to attempt a Union Pacific version - something I've always wanted to do. I love the design of this engine. Again, nice job. Edited September 29, 201113 yr by TheBrickster unnecessary quote of topic removed by moderator
September 28, 201113 yr Very nice job Jackson233. I've been seriously considering doing something like this, except in the form on one of Norfolk Southern's B30-7A1 High Hood Units. Edited September 29, 201113 yr by TheBrickster unnecessary quote of entire topic removed by moderator

September 29, 201113 yr Very nice. It's great to see a Norfolk Southern locomotive in LEGO. There needs to be more classy black NS engines in brick. Cale
September 29, 201113 yr such a gorgeous engine. Lots of lovely detail. Its black... its intriguing. Did I mention I like the detailing on this model. Not too shabby for a 20 year absence.
September 29, 201113 yr This looks great. Was wondering if you had issues with the trucks like I did with the C30-7 Northern Burlington I made from Dan's design. For me the wheels will not turn.
September 29, 201113 yr Wow, I was thinking about converting a Maersk train into a black version. But now I may reconsider. This looks great.
