Professor Flitwick Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 "No wonder you got the Deputy Chief post!" I'd like to know what restaurant the receipt is for. How classy or romantic is it? "We can do even better! I'd like to phone up the restaurant on the receipt!"
Bob Posted October 1, 2011 Author Posted October 1, 2011 That sounds like more than just flirting to me... What happened, Scott? You find out he wouldn't leave his wife? Or did you feel he betrayed you when it seemed you wouldn't become Chief with the lawsuit? I'd like to know what restaurant the receipt is for. How classy or romantic is it? It's for a restaurant in San Francisco. It's a bit classy, but not very romantic. "We can do even better! I'd like to phone up the restaurant on the receipt!" There is no number on the receipt and I'd doubt anyone at the restaurant would remember them, as the receipt is dated four months ago.
Jedi master Brick Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I apolgise to deputy Scott for my rudeness. Marcus, what can you remember about your attacker and what were you doing at the time of the incident
Peanuts Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Oh, this is very interesting. One more thing that points towards Deputy Chief Scott. Though I don't believe there is anything else to gain right now. I think we should go back to the police station and finish our investigation there.
Fugazi Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Oh, this is very interesting. One more thing that points towards Deputy Chief Scott. One more than what? Though I don't believe there is anything else to gain right now. I think we should go back to the police station and finish our investigation there. Agreed.
Peanuts Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 One more than what? One more thing than we had before?
Mrlegoninja Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I don't think we should go to the police station again. Its not worth it, and we probably won't fin anything needed. I say we go to the town hall.
Professor Flitwick Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I don't think we should go to the police station again. Its not worth it, and we probably won't fin anything needed. I say we go to the town hall. "I agree about the police station likely being depleted of clues, but I think a trip to the new Chief's ( ) house might be worth a trip. Why don't we if she and her predecessor have any more links?"
K-Nut Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Now that we have some leads, I agree that we should check Chief Scott's house, just in case.
Brickdoctor Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I agree; let's check out Chief Scott's house.
Peanuts Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I don't think we should go to the police station again. Its not worth it, and we probably won't fin anything needed. I say we go to the town hall. It's never wrong to be thorough, is it? I wonder what you plan to achieve in the Town Hall? At least, the Police Station is the new Chief's working place, we might find something there. Isn't it convenient she accidently mistook the Entrance Room for the Squad Room, therefore suggesting we leave the Police Station early and go to the Town Hall? I agree that her residence might provide useful information, so if you think we should go there first, I'm fine with that. But for thoroughness's sake I think we should have a look at the Squad Room soon.
Mrlegoninja Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I have no problem going back to the station. I just think that it would be better to got to the town hall. But then again, its not my decision, but the whole town's. We all decide were we want to go.

But then again, its not my decision, but the whole town's. We all decide were we want to go. You've got of course the right to have your own opinion about what we should do, but I am unable to comprehend why exactly you think the Town Hall would be the best. Would you mind explaining?

Would you mind explaining? As I know, Town Halls and Town Hall Meetings are associated with the government. And since our deceased chief was part of the Police (Which is part of the government), we might find some background about the government and the chief there.
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I think the Chief's coworkers are the most likely suspects besides his unknown number of mistresses. We should at least check their desks and work spaces before moving on to other leads. My vote is for going back to the police station.
Fugazi Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Have you reached a consensus? We're wasting so much time... Let's go the the police station, then to my house. Hopefully we'll have time for something else today, or it will be a day wasted.

ADHO15 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 To the police station! I think we need to finish investigating there.
Professor Flitwick Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 "The Police Station is probably best; we can spend the remainder of the day investigating there, and a full day at Chief Scotts ( ) house."
Peanuts Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 As I said before, I'm also for the Police Station.
K-Nut Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 It seems like we're all in for the police station (again ).
Bob Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 Once again rather than going somewhere useful, the townspeople arrive at the police station.
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Let's go search some desks so we can be on our way. This doesn't have to take long if everyone takes a desk and searches it. I will search Scott's desk for evidence of how far her relationship with the Chief went and any indication that she knew of the lawsuit previously.
Professor Flitwick Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 "I wouldn't want to be accused of tampering my own desk, so I'll search Officer Hutch's desk."
