Bob Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 What kind of plants are in the garden? Are there any mounds in the dirt? Just regular flowers. There's no mounds in the dirt. Uh, a horse. Does it have to smell like that? Why do you keep a horse in your stable anyway, Chief? I'd like to look inside the stable for anything unusual while not getting too close to the horse. There's nothing odd in the stable. I'd like to know how long the Swanson's have lived by you, and ask James if he sees you come home much. A long time. I look inside the closet/cabinet. Sarah opens the cabinet; there's a few books in there, but not much else. There's also Deputy Chief Scott's formal police uniform. I'd like to read the piece of paper on the table, next to the blue wine glass. I'd also like to check under the rug. The paper is blank, there's nothing under the rug. I'd like to know if I've ever seen the Chief visit Scott and if it was ever really late at night. No, you've never seen the Chief visit late. Scott also isn't home often.
Brickdoctor Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I read aloud the titles of the books and flip through them for anything hidden inside, and then search the pockets of the uniform.
badboytje88 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) I'd like to know what the little brown round thing is on top of the closet. After that I think we are done here and need to head over to the town hall. Sorry for the edit, I missed a ] so the text wasn't Italic. Edited October 4, 2011 by badboytje88
Bob Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 I read aloud the titles of the books and flip through them for anything hidden inside, and then search the pockets of the uniform. The books are several mystery novels. There's nothing odd hidden inside them. The uniform pockets are empty as well, it would appear that the uniform hasn't been touched in awhile. I'd like to know what the little brown round thing is on top of the closet. After that I think we are done here and need to head over to the town hall. Sorry for the edit, I missed a ] so the text wasn't Italic. It's a piece of dirt; Deputy Chief Scott must be a bad housekeeper.
Fugazi Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Uh, a horse. Does it have to smell like that? Why do you keep a horse in your stable anyway, Chief? I'd like to look inside the stable for anything unusual while not getting too close to the horse. It's my late father's horse. I'm taking care of him now. It's a piece of dirt; Deputy Chief Scott must be a bad housekeeper.
Rumble Strike Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Winston frowned. "I know we want to solve these murders but it does appear that Deputy Chief Scott hasn't exactly left much incriminating evidence casually lying around. As you'd expect! Perhaps we should move on to another location soon."
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Why haven't you worn your dress uniform in a while, Scott? Not get invited to any special functions lately? I'd like a description of the old farm field on Scott's property. Anything you'd not expect to see in a run down field?
Peanuts Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Winston frowned. "I know we want to solve these murders but it does appear that Deputy Chief Scott hasn't exactly left much incriminating evidence casually lying around. As you'd expect! Perhaps we should move on to another location soon." But we haven't even been to the farm yet, Dad. Don't be such a coward! I'd like a description of the farm, please.
ADHO15 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I search inside the under the bed, inside the pillows and in the bottom of Horace's bucket.
CMP Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I'd like to look through Scott's desk, and then look under it.
Bob Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 Why haven't you worn your dress uniform in a while, Scott? Not get invited to any special functions lately? I'd like a description of the old farm field on Scott's property. Anything you'd not expect to see in a run down field? No, there's only a few rows of dead crops that are slowly becoming unrecognizable. There's also a rather large apple tree being maintained and well fed. I search the box of clothes on the floor. Officer Scott has only a few pairs of pants, a few shirts, and other clothing articles. I search inside the under the bed, inside the pillows and in the bottom of Horace's bucket. Jeremy looks under the bed, then rips the pillow apart and looks there too, but there's nothing incriminating in either spot. There's also nothing at the bottom of Horace's bucket. I'd like to look through Scott's desk, and then look under it. It's a table, not a desk. This chapter will be ending soon. If you'd like to get your actions in early, that would be appreciated.
Brickdoctor Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I assume that means there's nothing in the clothes, either?
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I'd like to ask Scott if she maintains the tree. I'd also like to examine it to see if there is anything out of place about it in the treetop, in the bark, or around the roots.
Peanuts Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I'd like to go through the crops, looking for anything unusual.
Mrlegoninja Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I'd like to tip over the box and see if there is anything at the way bottom.
Professor Flitwick Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I'd like to go through Scott's pants pockets. "I'd be careful if I were you, Marcus; you might end up with another black eye!"
K-Nut Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 "I'd be careful if I were you, Marcus; you might end up with another black eye!" Not funny. Though I can't say I didn't think that myself.
CMP Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 "I'd be careful if I were you, Marcus; you might end up with another black eye!" Not the pants she has ON. Jeez, I'm not some weirdo. OH GOD, I FORGOT, THE NEXT GENERATION MARATHON IS ON! I NEED A TV!!!
Professor Flitwick Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Not funny. "Sowwy Ashwy." Though I can't say I didn't think that myself. OH GOD, I FORGOT, THE NEXT GENERATION MARATHON IS ON! I NEED A TV!!! "I'm sure night'll soon roll in, so you'll be able to watch it soon".
Bob Posted October 5, 2011 Author Posted October 5, 2011 I assume that means there's nothing in the clothes, either? Correct, there's nothing in the clothes. I'd like to ask Scott if she maintains the tree. I'd also like to examine it to see if there is anything out of place about it in the treetop, in the bark, or around the roots. "Yes, I do." Everything about the tree appears to be normal and in order. I'd like to go through the crops, looking for anything unusual. There are no crops, but I'll assume you mean the field. There's nothing out of place in the field. I'd like to go through Scott's pants pockets. The pants she has on now? Good luck with that one. I'd like to tip over the box and see if there is anything at the way bottom. Jack flips over the box, but there's nothing underneath. The sun once again begins to set over Lexington as the townspeople return home. In his office, Mayor Bob sits and converses on the phone. "...and they're doing a rather poor job I think, that's why we could use your help." A pause, as the other end of the line talks back. "I look forward to seeing you tomorrow then. It's good you can come out and help us, since I'm no apparent help." The Mayor says goodbye, and then hangs up. It will be a long night tonight. Chapter Three is now over. This topic can now be locked.
