Posted October 2, 201113 yr 179D Hi, I hope this fotos are not too much.^^ But I would to photograph every detail. So, what I've to write? I've built a classic Fort for my Armada. Ok, my text is stupid. I hope you have lots of fun with these pictures. ^^ At first pictures by the front: ...and now more detail pictures: I think these pictures are for the first post enough. More pictures will come! Elander EDIT: More pictures: The Tavern: (I feel ill) The Beacon: Gunner's Station: EDIT#2: Some more small details: And as least my thumbnail: The Back Side! To be continued Elander
October 2, 201113 yr My god, this is absolutely wonderful! I don't really know where to start because so much of this is epic, but the thing that really makes this model stand out is the attention to detail - it's the carvings in the rock, it's the way the sea has been built up, it's the stonework on the balconies... It's brilliant; thanks for sharing it.
October 2, 201113 yr What an EPIC build 'Elander', totally AWESOME detailing - I personally the beacon tower, tavern and finally the turret for the cannon ! Excellent work 'Elander' and please !
October 2, 201113 yr Very nice, I like the rocks and cliffs on which you built the fort. Lots of details, I'll be checking this out later again in an attempt to spot them all
October 2, 201113 yr Beautiful fort! Like others have said, it's the details that make this great. I like the rockwork and interiors especially. Does the cannon spin when you turn the cross on the side of the base, or is that just for decoration? Great job. Edited October 2, 201113 yr by Skipper
October 2, 201113 yr The coat of arms is very well made. I think this is a great MOC and I enjoy seeing more of your Imperial creations!
October 2, 201113 yr Author Thanks for your comments! Does the cannon spin when you turn the cross on the side of the base, or is that just for decoration? Hi, no, this is not a decoration. -the cannon can spin. Now follow the next pics: I hope you have a bit fun! The rear from the fort: the small jetty The Prison: (Bricklight inside the prison) (This place is haunted) And at least a foto for the door for my small bricklight for the prison. Yoo-hoo! Finish! Next time I to count my pictures. ^^ Greetings Elander
October 2, 201113 yr Hmm, seems I commented too early. I thought you were done with the pictures. As a fort I like the backside more, it's much more solid. Put a row of cannons in the upper ramparts and it'd be quite fearsome. And something I didn't notice last time, the design of the beacon is awesome.
October 2, 201113 yr This is a fantastic MOC! I think the thread is a bit overloaded with pictures though. Perhaps it would've been better to post 10-20 pictures and a link to the rest. Anyway, the high number of pictures do give a good view of the high number of great details in this MOC. The design is very original and the fort seems to have everything it needs. Well done! October 2, 201113 yr Man, I keep finding all of these awesome creations. Anyway, I can't actually find anything I don't like. THe water is awesome, I love the mix with the rough stone arch with the smooth stone brick fort build on and into. My favorite things are all of the places where the fort is built right into the rock, such as the walkway in the cave-type rock arch. Also, the smoothness of it and all of the wooden accents are really nice. ~Cpt. Tristan
October 3, 201113 yr I must say, this is one of the few forts I have seen on this website that is IMMENSE in size, and yet is so fine in detail! Bravo in that. like an earlier post stated, if you were to put more cannons along the wall, it would make this the finest fort in the armada! I was just wondering, but is that an admirals quarters? If so, PLEASE take pictures of it! Thanks! Edited October 3, 201113 yr by Deadna
October 3, 201113 yr This MOC looks really great! Reminds me of a Creation my dad made for me when I were a child, He made some sort of town like this. I always enjoyed these kind of MOCs: Dont know for sure but I think I like these Stair everywhere all those spaces where you can play Etc. Thanks for showing this great MOC, it brings back memories Tib
October 3, 201113 yr This fortress is amazing, great job! It's nice you made so many photos so we could see every detail.
October 3, 201113 yr Hey, I was going to use that water style in my next moc! This is a totally sweet moc.
October 3, 201113 yr Author Thanks for your comments! This shall be a ordinary fort for a combat-ready Armada company. Ok, now I to see it too. -Just one canon is not enough. Next time give it more. My commander has a small room beside the tavern. For an commander too small. -> The next fort get an bigger room for the commander.
October 3, 201113 yr Wow, simply fantastic! The rock work is amazing, it looks so good and intricate. All the pictures really do it justice!
October 5, 201113 yr There Are No Words to Describe this. Actually, there is a few... 1) epic 2) awesome 3) nice 4) iwishibuildthat (is that a real word?) Absolutely amazing. I don't see forts very often, but this one is outstanding compared to the many that i have seen.
October 8, 201113 yr The attention to detail here is awe-inspiring. I need to get good enough a parts collection to do this myself as soon as possible!
October 10, 201113 yr Wow. I love it. The elevation changes and all the detail and unique spaces really make this fort special. It's nice and big as well. Go Redcoats!
October 12, 201113 yr Beautifully made with a lot of in-dept detailing! Way superior to any fortress TLG made. The wooden roof looks really good in combination with the stone base.
