MOC Minifigure weapons

Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the direction for making custom minifigure weapons, i have seen some people make a chain / gattling gun using binoculars but i wouldn't know where to start?

I am lloking to customise several of my clone troopers with a sick weapon arsenal so all advice greatly appreciated.

That is an awesome selection of guns but I am still in the dark a little as where I start / what parts i may need?

Well, for starters, the gun in the middle of this picture looks to be made from a minifigure power drill, a minifigure hand, a screwdriver, and a Technic bush, all black. Not sure whether that's what you're asking...
