The Ent

6228353620_d4b551521d_z.jpg

After an industrial accident, the malfunctioning robot worker En-T-01 was tossed into the woods and never heard from again. EnT-01 was assumed to have rusted away, but some locals claim that he still functions half machine, half plant. Large footprints have been found, and travelers swear to have heard low rumbling singing coming from the treetops:

"These woods are very old, yet I am older

I watched them grow, and they have grown on me

I am the missing link between gear and growth

The cycle continues on for eternity."

Despite a lack of hard evidence, the legend of "The Ent" is still told around campfires across the globe.

Do you believe?

A truly unique build. Your mix between the plant growth and the robot itself are fantastic. I especially like the vine-covered face (hey, it's Treebeard!), though he's going to have a tough time grabbing things with a flowerstalk for a hand.

Without a doubt one of the most creative MOC's I've ever seen. I particularly like the backstory you've developed for it; it's almost believable. The techniques you've used to give it such a nice balance between plant and machine are stellar. Fantastic job.

Stunning! Love that little rhym you got there, I can just hear him singing it. Love the way you made his head, his face with the cyberobotic eye and tangled beard really appeals to me. Very well done!:thumbup:

This is definitely one of the most original MOCs I've seen in a long time. It flawlessly combines both natural and mechanical elements, and the end result is really good.
