ADHO15 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Hello everyone. Not long ago, I thought about trying my hand at a LEGO mosaic. I'm not a very skilled LEGO builder, and as some of you may know, I make my own clone troopers on Microsoft Paint, so I decided to adapt these into a more LEGO form and present them in the form of a 16,862-part mosaic cube! Each face of the cube represents a key clone trooper from The Clone Wars series: Captain Rex (Christophsis): Commander Fox (Coruscant): Commander Bly (Maridun): Commander Cody (Geonosis): Commander Gree (Kashyyyk - not from TCW, I know): A 'shiny' Clone Trooper: LXF File (caution: large LDD file) It isn't much, I know, but I thought I'd share it anyway. It cannot be built in real parts as it has no internal structure, but anyone's welcome to give it a try! Comments appreciated. Thanks for looking! Quote

Brickdoctor Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Nice work. The backgrounds are what really stand out for me. Quote
Mr Man Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 They're great ADHO . I love the Rex and Cody sides, the scenery looks great. I might have to make some clones in that style someday . Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Very cool ADHO15! Cody is my favortie. I'm surprised that more people don't make these as they're so easy. Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Wow. Great job ADHO15, really recognizable. I couldn't have done this, even if I had LDD. Quote
Hollander Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Very nice. I especially like Commander Bly. It would be nice to see different characters of the Star Wars universe, which are related to each other, in a cube like this. Good job. Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 Thank you very much for your comments, everyone! I'm glad you like it. Quote
Calabar Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Did you measure the real size of the cube? Quote
ADHO15 Posted October 13, 2011 Author Posted October 13, 2011 Did you measure the real size of the cube? Each face is 53x53 studs. Quote
