Rumble Strike Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 "I know you guys only have my word to go on and that isn't enough. You are more than welcome to search my residence, but I implore you to be careful around my precious artifacts!"
Mrlegoninja Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Is it possible that we take both Winston and Officer Jackson into custody until we find more evidence?
Professor Flitwick Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Is it possible that we take both Winston and Officer Jackson into custody until we find more evidence? "On what grounds? Also, how much 'evidence' is there at the moment? The words of a woman apparently struggling with her memory?" "I was here the night he died. I think I saw one of you, but I can't remember who it was." "My memory is a bit foggy, sorry. I believe it was a man though. Or maybe it was a woman. I can't remember, I do know the person had brown hair." "I think I remember something else. I already told you the person had brown hair, but now I believe the person I saw was a man."
Mrlegoninja Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 For noww, we've narrowed it down to two people. If we take either of them into custody, we'll know that they won't be able to do more harm in the night. If you aren't guilty, you should have no problem with this.

"I should have no problem with being arrested because I share characteristics with this mysterious person the forgetful Fire-fighter can just about recall seeing during the black of night?"

Don't forget Alex, his hair is also brown. And I think, we shouldn't arrest people hastily. It's exactly the mistake Deputy Scott made. And, we are talking about my father! "I should have no problem with being arrested because I share characteristics with this mysterious person the forgetful Fire-fighter can just about recall seeing during the black of night?" You seem pretty eager to underline the unreliability of her memory...
Professor Flitwick Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 You seem pretty eager to underline the unreliability of her memory... 7. There are a few NPC’s in certain areas of the town. These NPC’s might have evidence, however they might not. Also, the evidence given by them might be false information. You cannot do anything other than talk to these NPC’s. You can only go and speak to them when you arrive in their area. For example, each NPC is in a certain part of the town. If you’re at point A, you cannot go and speak to an NPC at point B. "I was taught to take rumours with a pinch of salt. Especially when they begin with 'I think', or 'I believe'."
Peanuts Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I'd ask the firefighter how she knows the person she saw was one of us. Jackson, you got a point there. Still I'd rather not disregard what she's telling us, as it might be valuable evidence.
K-Nut Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 For noww, we've narrowed it down to two people. What About Mr. Jordan?
Bob Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 Agent Stone enters. "Why are all of you just standing around here berating a confused NPC Witness? Why don't you go out and do some real investigating!"
K-Nut Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 My thoughts exactly. Let's have a looksy at that list, shall we? Government Buildings: -Town Hall -Police Station -Fire Department Business Buildings: -Ashley's Grocery Store -Jordan Department Store -Montgomery Pet Store -Lexington Docks Residential Buildings: -Montgomery Residence -Jordan Residence -Jackson/Baker Residence -Marcus Baker's Lighthouse -Hutch Residence -Robertson Residence -James Swanson's Home -Robbie Swanson's Home -Scott Residence I'd like to know what building is closest to the Fire Station.
Bob Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 I'd like to know what building is closest to the Fire Station. On one side is the Montgomery's Pet Store and Officer Hutch's apartment above that. On the other side is Winston and Ashley's townhouse.
K-Nut Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Shall we check the Robertson House? Seeing as Winston has brown hair, which is one of the only leads we have.
Rumble Strike Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 "Oh that's a good choice as it will be investigating a lead and both Deputy Scott and Officer Jackson's residences have been searched. I know you won't find any evidence but I do have some lovely pieces from all over the world that I would be delighted to show you all."
Mrlegoninja Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I agree. Let's check Winston's house. I have nothing to hide.Since my store is close to the fire department, I have no problem if we want to search there later.
Fugazi Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I concur with going to Winston's. I'm curious why someone would have followed the Chief to the Fire Station, and no explanation is forthcoming from the brown-haired suspects. Hopefully something will turn up in their homes.
Bob Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 "Please, come in." Winston says. Welcome to the Robertson Residence.
Fugazi Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I would like to enter the Robertson residence. I would like a description of the first floor.
Bob Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 I would like to enter the Robertson residence. I would like a description of the first floor. Not seen in this picture is the rest of the bathroom door, a tiny kitchen, and a door leading out back.
CMP Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I would like to go through the mailbox and the vase.
Jedi master Brick Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I would like to check behind the sofa
Fugazi Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I would like to check out the telephone and its table.
ADHO15 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I'd like to ask Mrs. Jordan what is in her letter/package.
Bob Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 I would like to go through the mailbox and the vase. There's nothing in the mailbox. In the vase is water and the stems of some flowers. I would like to check behind the sofa Robbie checks behind the sofa. There's a lost television remote, an old TV guide magazine, a five dollar bill, and a copy of Red Scare Mystery, a novel. I would like to check out the telephone and its table. Deputy Chief Scott looks at the table that the telephone resides on. The telephone itself is rather old, but still in complete working order. Inside the only drawer is a phone book.

If possible, I'd like to phone up the recent contact." "I'd also like to check outside, I'll see if there's anything in the garden."
