tormentalous Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I found a half picked through box at TRU in San Diego today. I did manage to get the Galaxy Patrol, Ocean King, and Grandma's Visitor. I'm pleased with them and looking forward to finding more (hopefully not at TRU). Quote
Rufus Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Yes, exactly WhiteFang! What are you crying about? Or wait... do you only get to keep the minifigures for reviewing purposes? Or do you want an army with 100 aztec warriors? Where do you think the prizes for the CMF contests come from? Quote
legomaniac83 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I picked up a complete set yesterday. I was surprised how fast I felt my way through a complete set too......I guess after 7 series it gets easier Got doubles of the Hippie, Bride, Bunny, Rocker Girl & Bagpipper. Can't wait to get a sneak peek of Series 8...... Quote
LEGOfan123 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Where do you think the prizes for the CMF contests come from? Oh! Well, now I know. Thank you Rufus! EDIT: And sorry WhiteFang... Edited April 22, 2012 by LEGOfan123 Quote
TrumpetKing Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Where do you think the prizes for the CMF contests come from? Well, what does WhiteFang do with the remaining set? Isn't there three sets in a box, and 2 building contest categories, each with a total of 1 full set? Quote
CM4Sci Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Was just on TRU and found this: LEGO MiniFigure Storage Case Series 7 It's not the set, but it's a storage case or something. -Sci Quote
Combee Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Just found 7 boxes at Toys R Us in Columbus, OH, got some Aztec warriors and space marines, gonna wait on getting the rest that I want from the Lego store so I don't have to pay $3.49 each Edited April 22, 2012 by Combee Quote
CtotheP Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Just checked my TRU in Schaumburg, IL (Woodfield) and they didn't have any Series 7. Still had a dismal Series 6 display w/ about 30 bags. This specific location always seems to be a little behind. Anyone else in the Chicagoland area have any luck? Quote
sedna1000 Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Found a few cases at TRU in New Orleans, these are the easiest to feel which is which with all the big unique pieces. Happy hunting. Quote
ETAV8R Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Saw the red box at TRU near Alhambra. Waiting for them to arrive at Target. Seems Target gets Lego long after TRU. The ones I've stopped at in SoCal don't even have the new wave for superheros. Quote

Not that I've been shelf-stalking, of course... Quote
Archer Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 For any one who (like me) enjoys scrambling up the minifigs from time to time to see what awesomeness/ hilarity ensues, Nothing looks more strangly epic than the Galaxy Patrol wearing the Bunny Suit Guy's headpiece. I am so happy that most hair/ helmet pieces are compatible with this new armor. Quote
Speedboat Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I spotted the first box of series 7 in a toy shop today and grabbed two space marines. I really love those minifigs, I think I'll try to build some Starcraft MOCs with them! :) Quote
h-7 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I found Series 7 at 2 different Toys R Us stores. Saturday the TRU I normally visit had about a box and a half. I picked out all the figures I really wanted plus a few extra for a friend. I completely planned on completing the set I just did not want to stand there and pick them all out that day. I got home and realized I actually picked out 11 of 16. So Sunday I went to another TRU. They did not have the box out with the rest of the lego's. I asked and was told to go to customer service. They had about half a box at the customer service desk. I went through it and while doing so a girl who worked there asked who I was looking for. I told her and she pulled out another unopened box and started going through it looking for the 3 remaining figures. I really love this series. The Bagpiper is by far my favorite. I also like the Bunny and Grandma Visitor. Quote
swils Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Almost a month later, I finally found some S7 boxes in a local Fred Meyer's (Fairbanks, AK). Picked up 3x Aztec, 2x Marine, 2x Bagpipe, 1x Neptune, 1x Tarzan, 1x Evil Knight. Unlike previous series (*cough* my minotaur army *cough*), I'm fairly satisfied with this limited number of figs. Nothing really jumped out at me as army building material (I feel like the Aztec would be better accompanied by a company of Islanders without fancy plumed headdresses, than a squad of that actual minifig). That said, did anyone else think that the Aztec's legs felt much less sturdy than that of the other figs? I can't tell if it's a different plastic, or just cheap, or what, but the legs on all 3 Aztecs that I got (from different boxes) just didn't feel the same as the other figs from this batch. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I have bought 3 and got the Hippie, the geek and the punk. I want to get Neptune the most. Atlantis Army anyone? Quote
swe3t23 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Target in San Jose have the superheroes stuff in but not the Series 7 minifies yet. Not that I've been shelf-stalking, of course... nice you are from SJ me too. Which SJ did you check out. The one on morill doesn't have them yet. I haven't seen them a walmart @ mccarty ranch Quote
BB.206 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Apparently they have been spotted at WalMart -- somewhere in Montana. My personal experience is that WalMart is the worst when it comes to stocking Minifigures. Toys R Us is usually the best, but has the worst price. Target is in the middle. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I can confirm US availability. I saw them at the Toys 'R' Us here in Tallahassee, Florida two days ago, so they currently have Minifigures from three different series simultaneously (Series 5, 6 and 7 - each at a different price ). Quote
305Bats Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Picked up the only 3 I wanted,Daredevil,Bunny Suit and Ocean King off Ebay for around $17 shipped, done! No running around or feeling packets or anything! Quote
just2good Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 My friend found some Series 7 at a Walmart in South Florida! I'm going to be picking some up! Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Just picked up a Tennis Ace and Galaxy Patrol at a Wal-Mart today, and I'm really impressed with this series. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I must say, I'm a bit underwhelmed with the Aztec now that I can hold it in my hands and look him over. I was contemplating a small tribe of these guys but I think I'd rather just get more evil knights, valkryies, or Galactic Patrol! The Daredevil is a nice surprise, if I do say so myself!!! Quote
305Bats Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I already have the gray dirt bike waiting for Mr. Knievel's arrival! Quote
BB.206 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I can confirm US availability. I saw them at the Toys 'R' Us here in Tallahassee, Florida two days ago, so they currently have Minifigures from three different series simultaneously (Series 5, 6 and 7 - each at a different price ). That's exactly like my Toys R Us, but I think it's because they were limiting purchases to 4 a series through series 6. They also would only put out one box at a time. They must have over 100 series 5 left, currently three full boxes of series 6, and about 5 boxes of series 7. But they were all the same price -- $3.49. Another Toys R Us about 15 minutes away sold through their series 5 -- the put them in a bin during the holidays and didn't limit the purchases. They currently have a bin of series 6, if the other Toys R Us would throw them in a bin they would sell through them faster. Sometimes they don't stock the shelf until the end of the week and only put a new box out if there are one or two packs left. Quote
